The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 8, teases that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will walk in on Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) sofa passion. Here’s how all the Y&R drama will go down.
Outside Devon’s penthouse, Amanda will bump into Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and offer updates on Naya Benedict’s (Ptosha Storey) condition. After Amanda insists on talking about something important, Nate will let her in his place and assume this involves another lecture about his betrayal.
Amanda will blast Nate for going against his family, but she’ll ultimately put her personal feelings aside and vow to help him reconcile with Devon. Once they’re back in the hallway, Nate will admit that Devon is “damn lucky” to have Amanda by his side.
At Society, Chance will leave Abby an apologetic voicemail and hope they can fix what’s broken between them. After Chance spots Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) nanny, he’ll find out that Abby took Dom over to Devon’s penthouse.
Meanwhile, Devon and Abby will strip down for some steaminess. Abby will hook up with Devon on the sofa, stairs and floor before they land back on the couch.
Once she’s canoodling with Devon, Abby will admit she wants to hold onto whatever this is for a little longer. It’ll be nice for Abby to feel seen and cared for.
After Chance gets off the elevator and explains why he’s there, Amanda will suggest surprising Devon and Abby together. Moments later, Amanda and Chance will walk in on Abby and Devon as they kiss under the covers. The unexpected arrival will catch Devon and Abby off guard as they jolt up.
At Chancellor-Winters, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will arrive out of the blue and lash out since Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be the only key player there. Lily will admit that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) resigned, so Jill will blow her top and act like Billy is reverting to his usual pattern.
What’ll irk Jill the most is that Billy let Lily down, so she’ll admit Lily deserves better. However, Lily will maintain that she loves Billy as well as the company. Despite Jill’s concerns, Lily will think everything’s going to work out the way it should.
Next, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will meet with Billy at Society, where they’ll discuss Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) talking to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and deciding he’s cool with the whole Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) thing.
When Billy inquires about Victoria’s feelings, she’ll ask if he really wants to know or if he expects her to feel guilty for Chelsea’s struggles. Billy will admit that maybe he’s projecting his own guilt since he’s wondering if there was another way to handle all this.
At Newman Enterprises later, Victoria will tell Nate how thrilled they are to have him on their team. When Victoria encourages Nate to share what’s bothering him, he’ll think it’s refreshing to have a boss who wants to know what’s on his mind.
At Chelsea’s facility, she’ll have her first therapy session with Dr. Malone and open up about years of running from dangerous emotions. Chelsea didn’t have time to stop and feel until she had her stroke, so that led her down this path until she just couldn’t run from the pain anymore.
Once Billy shows up, Dr. Malone will urge him to let Chelsea know he cares and that he’s glad she’s alive. Billy will indeed tell Chelsea that he’s grateful she didn’t die, but she’ll fret over Connor since he must be worried about her.
Although Billy will offer to talk to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) or have Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) do it, Chelsea will decide she should be the one to tell Adam what happened.
