The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, October 18 Update – Devon On Guard - Summer Threatens Sally - Nate’s Second Chance

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 18, teases that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will score a second chance while Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) threatens Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will also spill some important news, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.

Since Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) gave Devon his word that he wasn’t going after Chancellor-Winters, Devon will pass that news along to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Of course, Devon doesn’t fully trust Tucker, so he may warn that they still need to stay on guard.

Nate threw everyone into a tailspin at Chancellor-Winters, so it’ll be time to band together and regroup.

We’ll see Lily and Devon put in some teamwork as they try to control the damage Nate left behind.

Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will seethe over Nate’s betrayal and catch a flight back to Genoa City ASAP.

There’ll be some preparations to make before Jill’s arrival, so Devon and Lily will do whatever they can to settle things down at Chancellor-Winters.

In Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) office, she’ll hear all about Nate’s confession and how Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) dumped him anyway.

Victoria won’t be thrilled over this sudden setback, but she’s learned to adapt over the years.

Nate could really use a job now, so he’ll appreciate it when Victoria gives their partnership a second chance.

Victoria will think she can find a position that’s a good fit for Nate – and it seems likely Sally’s job at Newman Media will soon be the one Victoria has in mind.

Until then, Y&R spoilers say Victoria will have a strategy session with Nate as they plot their next move.

Since Victoria isn’t a quitter, she may hope she can still pull off her Chancellor-Winters takeover goal when the time is right.

In Sally’s office, she’ll get a rather unpleasant visit when Summer struts in.

Summer will seek the real story behind Sally and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) apparent romance, but Sally may think Summer should back off the meddling.

Even so, Summer will remain protective of Nick and will deliver a threat during this faceoff.

Sally may be warned not to jerk Nick around – or else she’ll have to deal with Summer’s wrath!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer and Sally have a tense showdown on the way, so stay tuned!
