The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, September 6 Recap – Chelsea Demands Trip with Connor – Adam’s Huge Mistake Riles Victor

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 6, teases that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will demand a trip with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) after Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) huge mistake riles Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

At the ranch, Adam will stop by and let Victor know he’s accepted the co-CEO position at Jabot. Victor will think this is a huge mistake since Adam will always be treated like an Abbott clan outsider.

However, Adam won’t see that it’s any different than the treatment he’s faced within his own family. After defending Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) motives for offering the job, Adam will suggest he’s cut from a different cloth than his siblings.

Victor will end up lashing out at Adam, who’ll insist this is a done deal and argue that his mind can’t be changed. Adam will ultimately admit that he now understands why his mother raised him as a Wilson.

Once Adam points out that it’s now his choice to walk away, he’ll rile Victor up even further. Adam will gripe about Victor’s unwillingness to be happy about his new venture, so Victor will surrender in disgust.

“Then you follow your new venture! All right?!” Victor will shout before Adam stomps off on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.

In the park, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will bump into Chelsea and admit he didn’t like the way they left things. Chelsea will just want to discuss Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and whether Billy has spoken to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about telling him the bio mom truth.

Billy will admit he hasn’t had a chance yet, but he’ll think Johnny and Connor can at least spend some time together as cousins for now. Talk will turn to the podcast and Billy’s belief that Chelsea can do it on her own, but she’ll act like it’s best to move on.

Once Chelsea talks about feeling adrift, she won’t know how things got so off track in her life. Billy will blame Adam before ignoring Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) phone call.

Once Billy talks about being one of those guys who never feels settled, Chelsea will relate. Even so, Billy will feel confident Chelsea’s going to find the place she belongs.

At Chancellor-Winters, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will discuss her new podcast with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), who’ll want to know Elena’s thoughts on the Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) situation.

Elena will confess that she encouraged Nate to quit since he was so miserable. Lily will realize she’s fighting even more of an uphill battle than she thought, but she’ll be determined to push for peace between Nate and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

After Lily brings Billy up to speed later, he’ll mention his encounter with Chelsea. That’ll leave Lily a bit uncomfortable, but she’ll act like it’s fine and hope there was no miscommunication this time.

Billy will insist there’s nothing to worry about and admit to being embarrassed that Chelsea previously mistook their camaraderie for something else. Once Billy mentions Chelsea feeling lost, he’ll confess to feeling guilty about leaving her high and dry at the podcast.

Lily will briefly worry that Billy has reconsidered leaving as Chelsea’s co-host, but he’ll claim he’s right where he’s supposed to be.

Back at the park, Adam will run into Chelsea and wonder if she has any plans lined up. Chelsea will declare that she wants to visit her mom in Minnesota and take Connor, so Adam will be caught off guard.

Over lunch at Society, Nate will admit to Imani Benedict (Denise Boutte) that he’s tired of biting his tongue with Devon. Once Imani learns Elena advised Nate to quit, she’ll point out that wouldn’t satisfy Nate and urge him to make a major move that Devon can’t ignore.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will discuss Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) going off to college. Nick will also open up about Adam’s therapy advice and get Sharon’s push to accept it.

Over with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), they’ll decide Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) would be the perfect person to represent them in their adoption journey.

Next, Tessa and Mariah will give Faith a little farewell gift – though they’ll insist this is a “see you later” and not a real goodbye. Afterward, Nick and Sharon will head out with Faith as she prepares to start her semester at the University of Michigan.

As other Y&R news pops up, we’ll bring you updates. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will have to deal with an empty nest, but she’ll have plenty of loved ones to lean on. CDL’s the place to be for hot Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly.
