The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will betray Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). She’ll demand a no cancer confession after rejecting their new life together, so some dramatic moments are on the way as Ashland realizes he’s been duped.
The week of April 18-22 will bring a rude awakening for Ashland, who’ll assume Victoria’s going to start fresh with him somewhere far away from her family.
After Ashland locks in his deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Victoria will drop a major bomb.
That’s when Victoria will reveal that she never intended to run away with Ashland and seek this magical new beginning.
Despite previously claiming they could have the fresh start Ashland wanted, Victoria will shut down the idea completely.
Y&R spoilers say Victoria will rip into Ashland over all his lies and argue that whatever they shared is gone.
Victoria won’t see a path forward for them as a couple, but she’ll want one thing from Ashland before they part ways.
Ashland already alluded to his guilt when he insisted that he’d forgive Victoria if the situation were reversed.
Ashland will also offered all that vague talk about his intentions changing, but Victoria will push for real confession.
Victoria will think the least Ashland can do is come clean about the cancer lie after everything he’s put her through.
Ashland will decide Victoria’s right, so he’ll admit he made up the cancer story and fabricated all the evidence to make it look legit.
Although Ashland was initially pleased with himself for deceiving Victoria, he’ll admit things changed along the way.
Ashland will insist that the deep love he found with Victoria caught him by surprise. He’ll act like that’s what really matters now and feel like they could still build that new life he proposed.
It looks like Victoria will stand her ground, but Ashland will give a powerful speech as he tries desperately to hold onto this relationship.
Unfortunately, Ashland has messed with Victoria’s head so many times that it’ll be hard for her to know what’s sincere anymore.
Instead of giving Victoria the closure she needs, this faceoff will only make her more upset.
That should leave Victoria in a distraught state of mind as the show builds to her shocking car accident.
