The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will blast Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for his Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) podcast trashing. Victoria will be furious over personal drama going public, so she’ll really let Billy have it!
Billy started off with a podcast where he could share his own words of wisdom and help others deal with some of the same issues.
However, Billy ultimately realized he was having to censor himself too much.
Billy couldn’t put everything out there like he wanted to since he was doing that podcast under his own name.
That led to Billy adding a second podcast with a different voice and pseudonym.
Unfortunately, Billy was too riled up over his Ashland run-in to care about where he did his ranting, so he did it on his main podcast instead of the anonymous one.
Although Billy only talked about the mogul who would remain nameless, it won’t be hard for people to assume he was trashing Ashland.
That’s especially true since Ashland abruptly left Newman and has agreed to have his marriage annulled.
Billy may set off a chain reaction with his podcast that leads to bad press for Newman Enterprises and drags Victoria’s name into the mud along with Ashland.
Regardless, Victoria isn’t going to appreciate Billy getting on his soapbox to slam Ashland and give everyone a taste of the dirt.
Victoria wanted to keep all this as private as possible, but Billy blew it – and it wasn’t even any of his business!
It’s tough to understand who would even want to listen to Billy’s obnoxious tirades, but people apparently do – at least according to the numbers Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has been looking at.
Nevertheless, Victoria may insist Billy should use his vanity project to talk about his own mistakes or at least stop slamming Ashland since this affects her, too.
Billy, on the other hand, may feel like Victoria is defending Ashland and trying to protect him.
It could leave Billy with more concerns about Ashland’s hold on Victoria and keep up the endless cycle of “Villy” fighting.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy’s move will rile Victoria up and cause a fierce faceoff, so stay tuned during the week of May 9-13.
