The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will embrace a new life with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and threaten to leave the Newman family behind. That’s going to cause some chaos as the summer drama heats up, so here’s what viewers can expect.
Victoria has already been battling a torn heart, but she’s doing her best to keep walls up with Ashland and move on with her life.
However, Victoria will soon see that’s just not possible – not when her feelings for Ashland remain this strong.
Despite Ashland’s lies and mistakes, Victoria still loves him. Since Victoria also believes Ashland’s love for her is real, she’ll make a shocking decision.
The Newman family will be thrown into turmoil as Victoria warns she’s willing to cut ties with them.
It sounds like Victoria may deliver an ultimatum regarding Ashland and demand that her loved ones accept their reunion or else.
If Victoria has to deal with constant pushback, she’ll be prepared to walk away from the Newmans entirely – including the CEO position of Newman Enterprises.
Of course, that’ll be music to Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) ears, but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be concerned about Victoria’s decision.
The same goes for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who will join Nick in trying to talk some sense into Victoria.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will speak his mind as well, but he’ll also believe Victoria is a victim of Ashland’s manipulation.
That’ll leave Victor determined to eliminate the hold Ashland has on Victoria, so he’ll make some drastic moves to ensure their breakup sticks.
Adam will no doubt be frustrated with Victor’s reluctance to turn his back on Victoria, even when she continues to let Ashland drag her down.
However, Ashland’s love for Victoria really does seem genuine, so he’ll have hope that all this can be resolved one way or another.
