The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victoria Fires Sally, Replaces with Nate – CEO Swap at End of 90-Day Trial?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may fire Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and replace her with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Will there be a shocking CEO swap at the end of the 90-day trial?

Y&R fans can’t forget that Sally’s role at the top isn’t set in stone.

Victoria could fire Sally whenever she wants anyway, but there’s actually a specific agreement in place that makes Sally the interim CEO for 90 days before a reevaluation.

The end of that trial is rapidly approaching – and Victoria may soon have another incentive to kick Sally to the curb.

Now that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has blown the Chancellor-Winters takeover plot, Victoria will still hope to find him a suitable position somewhere under the Newman Enterprises umbrella.

Of course, there have already been some issues that have left Victoria skeptical about Sally’s abilities.

For example, Sally missed an important marketing summit all because she had the time wrong.

If Victoria can’t trust the CEO of Newman Media to double check her calendar on something like that, then there’s a problem.

However, Sally apologized profusely and has been working hard to prove she’s more than her mistakes.

Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is also on probationary status, so there’s a lot riding on this for her, too.

Unfortunately, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is the one who’s been fighting for Sally’s job every step of the way, not Victoria.

It seems more like Victoria wants Sally to fail.

That’s especially true now that Victoria needs an open spot for Nate to slide into.

Although Nate doesn’t have a ton of corporate experience, he was just fired as Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) COO.

Since Nate has done media work through Chancellor-Winters, Newman Media is the logical place for him to land.

Victoria may decide to offer him the Newman Media CEO spot on a silver platter.

Victoria will go after Sally in some way during the week of October 24-28.

That could mean Victoria will make things extra tough on Sally and try to prove she doesn’t deserve this job as the 90-day trial winds down.

Regardless, Sally could be on the chopping block if Victoria moves forward with this CEO switch.

Will Nate take Sally’s job after Victoria gives her the boot? What does that mean for Chloe?
