The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will leak her vengeful plan to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), so she’ll provoke Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) into taking the bait.
Since Victor doesn’t know where Victoria is or what she’s up to just yet, he’s waiting to see what move she’ll make with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Victor needs more cards to play against Ashland, so now it’s just a waiting game until those cards are dealt.
Fortunately, Victor won’t have to wait too long since Victoria will call Nick with a goal in mind.
Y&R fans know Nick was able to patch things up with Victoria before she left town, so she’ll call to check in – though her real goal will be leaking her intentions.
During the week of June 20-24, Victoria will speak to Nick over the phone and hint at some business meetings she’s been taking in New York.
Although Victoria will keep the conversation casual, she’ll know exactly what she’s doing.
Victoria will make it clear that she’s relying on her own business contacts and not Ashland’s.
That’ll get the wheels turning for Nick, who’ll assume Victoria is creating a new company – one she’s hoping will serve as major competition for Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Nick knows how strong Victoria’s competitive side is and will figure out she wants to crush Newman Enterprises following all the family drama.
Since we know Victoria specifically wants to target Newman Media as part of that plan, Nick may pick up on that, too.
Of course, Victoria won’t expect Nick to keep all this to himself. The whole point of calling Nick will be to spill some clues and make sure they get back to Victor.
Victoria will fully expect Victor to retaliate, but she’ll also feel confident she can handle him now that she’s stepped beyond his shadow.
As for Adam, Victoria will think he’s going to crash and burn as usual, so she won’t really care about the CEO news.
After everything that’s happened, Victoria will be ready for a fierce showdown and will intentionally provoke Victor into joining the battle.
This will be Victoria’s way of declaring war, so she’ll use Nick to leak her plot to Victor and fully anticipate retaliation.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will be playing with fire, so we’ll see if she ultimately gets burned!
