The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victoria Pushes Adam Out With Co-CEO Pick – Nikki’s New Job Sparks Outrage

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will snub Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) with her co-CEO pick. Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) new job will spark outrage, so let’s talk about how all this will play out.

Victoria is obviously feeling pretty overwhelmed due to everything that’s gone down with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).

Although Victoria’s crash injuries were minor, she’s still got some physical healing to do on top of everything else.

Of course, Victoria’s emotional state is what’s most troubling to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who’s been pushing her to leave Adam in place as temporary CEO while she copes.

Adam has been hesitant to make any other bold moves and is waiting to see what Victoria’s next move is first.

That’ll end up being a mistake since Victoria will do something Adam never saw coming.

Adam was hoping he could at least slide in the co-CEO spot and run Newman-Locke alongside Victoria.

It turns out Victoria will decide she could indeed use a co-CEO to replace Ashland – but it won’t be Adam!

Instead, Victoria will promote Nikki from the COO spot. It’s a brilliant decision on Victoria’s part since Victor certainly can’t object to his beloved wife getting a promotion.

Victoria will block Adam and get Victor off her back in one fell swoop.

It’ll also give Victoria some extra help during a difficult time, so this choice will work out for everyone except Adam and his number one cheerleader, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Nikki will thrive in her new role and do great things for the company, but that won’t stop Adam from once again feeling slighted.

Adam will think Victoria could’ve just as easily let him step up, so he’ll be insulted over her choosing Nikki instead – and even more insulted over Victor’s approval of the idea.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will grow concerned about how Adam will handle getting muscled out like this.

Adam sometimes makes bad calls when he’s feeling shut out, so Nick will want to keep an eye on the situation and make sure his brother doesn’t do anything too dangerous in response.

As for Sally, you can bet she’ll support Adam in his outrage and help him form another plan for his next chapter.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria’s co-CEO twist will bring some big business drama during May sweeps, so stay tuned.
