The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) has a heartbreaking intervention coming up. It looks like there’ll be a family ambush to break Victoria’s dirty Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) loyalty, so major Y&R drama’s about to go down.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) decided to come clean to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about his findings at the hospital, so he showed up at Newman Media with a promise of a smoking gun.
Victor has seemingly made some progress getting through to Victoria based on the evidence he’s offered so far, but he needs irrefutable proof.
Victoria naturally wants to believe Ashland’s side of the story, so Victor has to make it so she just can’t anymore.
Nate could help with that since he knows Ashland’s chest X-ray following his heart attack showed no signs of lung cancer.
Ashland previously claimed that’s how his cancer was found, which was obviously a lie.
On top of that, Nate could find no record of Ashland having chemotherapy at Memorial or anywhere else with ties to the hospital.
Now Nate – someone who previously considered Ashland a friend and was best man at the Tuscany wedding – has turned against him.
That should tell Victoria a lot about Ashland’s level of deception.
Victoria has been friends with Nate for quite some time and respects his medical opinion a great deal. If there was ever someone for Victoria to believe, it’s Nate.
Victor may make sure Nate is on hand for this intervention, which he’ll plan during the week of March 21-25.
Victor will rally the family to ambush Victoria and make her see that she’s married to a monster.
By banding together, Victor will hope that they can eliminate whatever hope Victoria’s clinging to.
Victoria has to accept that Ashland has told lie after lie and will continue to do so for as long as she lets him.
Of course, there’s a chance Ashland will find out what’s going on and try to keep this intervention from happening.
We know Ashland will have a getaway plot in mind, which could certainly involve Victoria.
Regardless, Victor will work with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to stage this intervention, so hopefully they’ll be able to pull it off.
Victoria needs to start listening to the things she doesn’t want to hear!
