The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, April 27 Recap – Sharon Finds Rey’s Note – Diane’s Coffeehouse Disaster

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 27, reveals that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will find Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) sweet note while Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has a coffeehouse disaster.

At The Grand Phoenix on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) won’t be able to spill the details of Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) family drama to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).

Phyllis will just admit that someone from Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) past is back in town and could create so much danger for so many people.

Amanda will fish for answers until Phyllis admits this woman is Jack’s ex among other things, but she’ll vow to protect Jack from her.

In Diane’s suite, she’ll get tired of waiting around in her “gilded cage.”

Diane will decide there’s no harm in taking a walk for coffee, so she’ll don her disguise again and sneak out of the hotel.

At the Abbott mansion, Kyle will insist that what Jack’s claiming is impossible.

Kyle won’t understand since they had a funeral for Diane and buried her body.

Jack will clarify that Diane wasn’t the one in the coffin and will insist Kyle’s mom faked her death by choice.

After Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) shows up, he’ll convince Kyle to let him take Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) to the park or for a bite to eat.

Once Ashland leaves with Harrison, Kyle will admit he has trouble saying goodbye to Harrison for any length of time.

Kyle will fume and struggle to wrap his head around Diane staying away all these years.

Kyle will recall the positive memories he has, but he’ll also remember an exposé that was published about Diane’s crimes.

Jack will admit Diane did even more horrible things after that. Although Jack won’t want to taint Kyle’s memory of his mother, he’ll admit Diane is as bad as everyone claims.

That said, Jack will know Diane isn’t going away – and that means Kyle will have to decide about her one way or the other.

Kyle will want to talk to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) before he makes any decisions, so he’ll try to call her at Society.

After Kyle leaves a voicemail urging Summer to get in touch, he’ll run into Traci Abbott (Beth Maitlaind).

Traci will offer to help Kyle work through what he’s feeling, so he’ll confess that part of him never wants to see Diane’s face again.

Another part of Kyle will remember Diane being a good mother, but he’ll struggle to get past the fact that she let him believe she was dead.

At Crimson Lights, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will show up and check in with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) as well as Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).

Elena will offer her condolences and learn the wedding is moving forward, so she’ll think maybe it’ll be a reminder that life goes on.

When a disguised Diane approaches the counter, Mariah will ask what she can get for her.

After Mariah apologizes for the delay, she’ll admit there’s been a death in the family.

Diane will find out it’s Sharon Rosales’ husband, so she’ll ask if she used to go by Sharon Newman.

Once Mariah confirms it, she’ll wonder if she’s seen Diane in there before.

Diane will get flustered and walk away once Mariah serves up her coffee.

In fact, Diane will get rattled enough to just bail on the coffee mission and rush back to the hotel.

When Phyllis spots Diane, she’ll cut her conversation with Amanda short. P

hyllis will scold Diane for sneaking out and send her back on the elevator up to her room. Later, Diane will pace nervously as she continues to fret over Kyle.

At the cottage, Sharon will rummage around for the wedding folder until she finds a little note Rey left about picking up paper towels.

It’ll leave Sharon emotional before she has some romantic flashbacks of her love story with Rey.

Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will come home from school early since she’ll just feel like she needs to be around her family.

Sharon will understand and appreciate having her loved ones around, but she’ll insist on staying busy with wedding plans.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon will thank Elena after she offers some kind words.

Mariah and Tessa will remain uneasy about the nuptials happening under the circumstances, but Sharon will push everyone to stop babying her.

After Sharon says she really needs this wedding to keep her afloat right now, Tessa and Mariah will decide they’re all in.

Since Crystal Porter’s (Morgan Obenreder) legal issues might prevent her from coming and the rest of Tessa’s family is out of the picture, Tessa will ask if Sharon would walk her down the aisle.

Sharon will be touched and assure Tessa that she’d be honored. She’ll insist Tessa is already family as far as she’s concerned.

As for Mariah, she’ll turn to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to walk her down the aisle as well.

Nick will admit he’d also be honored and will hug Mariah in a heartfelt moment.

Back with Jack, he’ll give Phyllis updates on Kyle finding out the truth.

Jack won’t be happy about Diane sneaking out and will feel like she’s always going to be a wildcard.

Phyllis won’t think Diane’s going to find absolution in Genoa City, especially after all her enemies learn she faked her death.

Jack’s only concern will be Kyle and what this whole situation will do to him.

Jack won’t be sure what Kyle’s going to do – and Kyle won’t be sure either as he confides in Traci.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will indeed reunite with Diane soon, so that’s sure to bring some tough moments.
