The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 21, reveals that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will have to cover his blunder since he told Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) that he was taking a shower a couple hours ago.
Tucker will pretend to need another one following a workout and will invite Ashley to join him before apologizing since the invitation was crass.
Even so, Tucker will encourage Ashley to come in for a drink and wait for him to clean up.
It’ll be a relief when Ashley wants to wait upstairs instead since Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will be able to come out of the bathroom.
Audra will admit she might’ve underestimated Tucker after hearing how he handled Ashley.
It’ll leave Audra thinking Tucker might be closer to his personal and professional goals than she thought.
Tucker will assure Audra that if she sticks with him, she’ll get the reward she deserves.
At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will assure Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that they’re packed and will be ready to leave at a moment’s notice with Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).
Jack will plan to send word when it’s clear for Kyle, Summer and Harrison to leave for the cabin.
If everything goes according to plan, Jack will feel confident they can get away without Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) following them.
While they’re waiting, Summer and Kyle will distract each other with some early Christmas gifts.
Although Summer will be upset over her fight with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Kyle will offer a pep talk about enjoying the holidays and hopefully moving past all the drama in the new year.
Once Jack shows up in Jeremy’s suite, he’ll present a briefcase that has five hundred thousand dollars in it.
That’s double the amount Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) had on her when Jeremy was arrested.
Unfortunately, Jeremy will act like he would’ve earned a lot more than double in his line of work.
After Jack gets frustrated, he’ll urge Jeremy to name his price.
Jeremy will suspect Jack is romantically involved with Diane, but Jack will deny it and insist this is about his son as well as his grandson.
Jack will push Jeremy to take the money and leave, but Jeremy will insist it’s about more than just the cash.
Jeremy will only want to negotiate with Diane since he still has a few questions for her. After his time in prison, Jeremy will think he’s entitled to answers.
All Jeremy will claim to want is one more conversation with Diane – and then he’ll vow to move on with the money.
Jack will ultimately relent and claim he might know where to take Jeremy, but he’ll warn that Jeremy’s going to leave after this last Diane chat.
That way, none of them have to see Jeremy ever again.
At The Glam Club on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, things will be awkward between Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), but they’ll eventually clear the air regarding Audra.
Allie will worry that Audra won’t stop trying to get Noah back, but he’ll urge Allie to forget about his ex and will act like he’s already done that.
Later, Allie will seemingly believe Noah only has eyes for her and will kiss him after they discuss Christmas plans.
Once Tucker joins Ashley and gets updates on her escalating feud with Jack, he’ll suggest Jack has made his loyalty to Diane known.
If Jack is going to turn his back on Ashley, Tucker will think she should do something about it and will urge her to keep her distance from her brother.
At Crimson Lights, Audra will formally meet Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and try to butter her up.
Sharon won’t think that’s necessary since Audra isn’t dating Noah and will fish to find out how long she’s sticking around town.
Audra won’t be sure, but she’ll acknowledge that Sharon is concerned about how her presence will affect Noah.
Since Audra got the message loud and clear, she’ll insist she won’t make any trouble for Noah and Allie.
When Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) arrives, he’ll be excited about cracking a tough case involving a Christmas elf at the mall.
They had to put an APB out on the guy’s elf name – and then he tried to deny everything while he was still wearing an elf ear.
Audra will seem amused as she eavesdrops on Chance telling Sharon the wild story.
Once Sharon steps away for Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster) phone call, Audra and Chance will flirt over festive drinks, the elf story and podcasts.
Sharon will seem uneasy about Audra’s interest in Chance, but she’ll politely offer them refills as they talk.
Chance will end up cornering Sharon alone to thank her for her all support, so Audra will frown as she appears to notice their connection.
