The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, February 16, tease that Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will make a cruel move to ruin Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) fears another Newman family blowup.
Y&R fans know Victoria wasn’t expecting Adam to stick around after she gained control of Newman Media.
It threw Victoria for a loop when Adam dug his heels in and decided to remain the CEO spot.
Nevertheless, Victoria isn’t too concerned since she doesn’t expect Adam to last long.
That’s especially true now that Adam’s got someone as reckless as Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for a COO.
Even so, Victoria will ultimately decide she doesn’t want to wait around for Adam to fail.
Victoria will think it’d be much more fun to wreck Adam’s chance to prove himself and hurt his standing with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in the process.
Victoria will tell Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) about her plan to speed things up and sink Adam as quickly as possible.
Victoria will take great pleasure in plotting against Adam and setting her brother up for imminent disaster.
However, Victor will have a scheme of his own in mind – one that involves sending Adam to gather all the Ashland info he can.
Victor will basically want Adam to spy and see if he can find out anything else about the secrets Ashland’s keeping.
At some point this week, Victor will also catch Adam and Sally on the verge of a kiss.
Adam won’t see any reason to keep his romance with Sally under wraps, but Victor will overhear and disagree.
Victor will push Adam to hide his relationship with Sally – though he would no doubt prefer for it to end entirely!
Whether Victor pressures Adam on that now or later, it should bring a tense conversation between this father and son.
As for Nick, he’ll battle concerns about Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Nikki may drop hints about the storm that’s brewing and leave Nick wondering what Victor’s up to this time.
We’ll see if Nikki admits Victor is investigating Ashland’s past again, but Nick will definitely see the potential for more trouble.
Nick won’t like Nikki being under so much stress and will worry she’s going to get caught in the crossfire.
Sooner or later, there’s always another round of Newman family chaos.
Nick will brace for the worst and hope Nikki doesn’t get hurt too much as a result.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the Newmans will indeed face some serious turmoil in the coming weeks, so keep watching!
