The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, February 2, tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will get a surprise while Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) faces a new challenge. Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will also spill Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) secret, so let’s talk about what’s ahead in Genoa City.
Y&R fans know Phyllis turned down Jack’s dinner invitation – at least for now. Phyllis suggested their meal together would have to wait until after her trip, but it looks like she’ll change her mind.
Since Phyllis was hoping Jack would stop her from leaving, maybe he indeed will. Then again, Phyllis might have to take the lead and approach Jack herself.
Regardless, Phyllis will open up to Jack on Wednesday, so he should be pleased when she accepts his invite after all.
As Phyllis considers this big move to Milan, she’ll weigh her options and get some solid advice from Jack.
In the meantime, Abby will tackle another challenge connected to her shared custody agreement.
Abby will realize she needs to sit down with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and try to settle a few things related to Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).
While Devon and Abby work on putting Dom first as a team, Tessa’s behavior will set off some alarm bells.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will get the feeling that Tessa is keeping something from her, so she’ll remind Tessa that they said no more secrets.
Tessa will ultimately come clean about Noah admitting his lingering feelings for her.
Mariah will realize her brother is still in love with Tessa, so she’ll wonder what her next move should be.
Of course, Tessa might point out that Noah said he wanted to let it go. Mariah and Tessa will have to decide if ignoring the problem is really the right call.
Whatever the case, Noah is set to make a scene at Tessa and Mariah’s upcoming engagement bash, so that’ll bring some awkward moments by the end of the week.
