The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 20, tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will test Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) loyalty while Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) gets sinister. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also warn Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), so let’s discuss all the drama ahead.
For starters, it looks like Victoria will want Sally to pass a test before she’ll commit to leaving her in power at Newman Media.
Victoria will quiz Sally and try to make sure Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will no longer be pulling the strings in any way.
Since Sally will be crushed following her split from Adam, she’ll probably pass this test with flying colors.
Sally may spew the kind of vitriol that Victoria likes to hear regarding her brother and convince her boss that Adam is truly in the rearview mirror.
However, Ashland remains the biggest threat to Victoria, so Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will definitely battle more concerns about his sister and the possibility that her ex will strike back.
Across town, Ashland will move forward with the next step in his revenge plot.
After Ashland gets out on bail, he’ll land outside Victoria’s house at some point this week and give her the creeps with an evil glare.
Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers say Jack will have some good advice for Allie.
Perhaps Jack will walk in on a close moment between Allie and Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) before realizing their romance is progressing fast.
That could leave Jack in protective grandpa mode, especially after what he just went through with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Although Jack thinks Noah is a great guy, he may warn Allie to take her time and make sure she protects her heart along the way.
As for Phyllis, her alliance with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will hit a snag.
Ashley and Phyllis will get into a heated argument as they scheme against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), so Nikki may remind them to focus on their common enemy instead!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane’s foes will need to work together if they want their best chance at defeating her, so stay tuned to see if they can get their act together.
