The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 27, reveals that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will book a Las Vegas flight while Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) car is found in a ravine. Here’s what viewers can look forward to as the twists and turns continue in Genoa City.
At Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) place, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will claim he just learned everything when Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was there and that he doesn’t know what happened to Ashland.
After Victoria agrees to stay at the ranch, Victor will acknowledge that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might be facing legal issues and vow to take care of everything.
Victoria will hug Nick and thank him for coming to her rescue before leaving with Victor.
Once Nick is alone, he’ll be haunted by flashbacks of his confrontation with Ashland. Nick will also spot Ashland’s ring on the floor near the back doors.
A quick call to Victoria will confirm that Ashland put the ring in his shirt pocket earlier, so Victoria won’t know how it ended up on the floor.
Since Victoria will need some files from her office, she’ll stop by Newman Enterprises with Victor.
That’ll give Victoria a chance to explain the Ashland story to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who’ll assure her daughter that there’s no need for apologies or regrets.
At Crimson Lights, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will mention Victor filling him in and will fish for info on the Ashland investigation from Chance, who’ll insist on going by the book.
However, Chance will vow to offer updates once Ashland is found.
Back at Newman Enterprises, Victor will step out for a phone call. Michael will confirm that no one has located Ashland yet, so Victor will suggest Michael doesn’t have to hang around the coffeehouse.
After Nick bumps into Michael briefly, he’ll approach Chance and offer Ashland’s ring that was left behind at the house.
Chance will also get a phone call about a car that was found in a ravine, but he’ll admit there hasn’t been a positive ID yet.
Nick will want to help with the investigation, but Chance will push him to stay out of it.
In Victoria’s office again, she’ll admit she keeps falling for flawed, damaged men.
Since Victoria brought Ashland into all their lives and forced them to accept him, she won’t know how she’s supposed to forgive herself.
Victoria will also worry that she took too much from Ashland with her revenge plot.
It was like the final destruction on Ashland’s psyche, but Nikki won’t think any tears should be shed for Ashland.
Victor will pipe up in agreement as he returns and will meet with Michael privately while Nikki takes Victoria home.
Michael will confirm that he learned from a member of Victor’s team that one of Chance’s men found Ashland’s car.
Victor will ask if Ashland was inside, so Michael will nod yes in response and offer an intense stare. That’ll leave Victor pleased like it was all part of the plan.
In Adam’s hotel suite, he’ll wake up to find Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) sitting nearby.
Sally will insist she’s there to give Adam a do-over – another chance to make the right choice and reclaim their future.
Adam will act like he made a calculated effort to get Sally to fall in love with him, but she’ll remind Adam that she pursued him.
Although Adam will keep making excuses and finding ways to protest, Sally will insist she doesn’t want to lose what they have together.
After Sally talks about her parents vanishing when she was young, she’ll note that her sister and grandmother were her constants.
Even so, there was a gaping black hole in Sally’s life – one that completely vanished when she finally met Adam and the stars aligned.
Sally will push Adam to just admit he still loves her so they can start finding their way back to each other.
Once Sally’s speech is over, Adam will acknowledge that it was beautiful, but he won’t think it changes anything.
Sally will cry as she predicts Adam will come to realize he’s made a massive mistake, but she’ll also fear that realization will come too late.
After Sally warns she may have moved on by then, she’ll push Adam to think long and hard before letting her slip away.
Adam will continue to claim what’s done is done, so Sally will decide to leave since he heard her out.
Before Sally goes, she’ll announce that she’s resigning from Newman Media first thing in the morning.
Adam will protest that Sally can’t do that since she loves her job, but she won’t want it since becoming CEO might’ve cost Sally her happiness.
Once Sally exits, Adam will pour himself a drink looking miserable.
Y&R fans will also see Adam get on the phone to book a flight to Las Vegas first thing in the morning.
Back at Crimson Lights, Sally will notice that Nick looks rough and will offer to buy him some coffee since misery loves company.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam could indeed come to regret his mistake, so stay tuned!
