The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, June 8 Recap – Victoria & Ashland’s New York Future – Adam & Sally’s Big Win

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 8, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will plan her New York future with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) enjoy a big win.

At Newman Enterprises, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will rant about Ashland being a user, a liar and a fraud.

Victor will urge Victoria to see that Ashland is toying with her, but Victoria won’t care if her family thinks she’s crazy.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will start ranting about Ashland as well, so Victoria will fire back and make it clear that she doesn’t owe him anything.

Victoria will scoff about her family thinking they’re so much smarter and will remind them that they all bought Ashland’s cancer story, too.

After Victor protests that he had doubts from the get-go, Victoria will argue that it’s revisionist history and insist he approved of Ashland more than any of her other love interests.

Victor will contend that he simply tolerated that nonsense for a while since Ashland made Victoria happy.

However, Victoria will declare that despite Ashland’s mistakes, he’s still the perfect man for her.

Victor will call Victoria stubborn, so she’ll think his attitude is exactly why she’s leaving town and never coming back.

Victoria will be sick of trying to win Victor’s approval, so she’ll maintain that she’s done.

After Victor warns this will be the biggest mistake Victoria will ever make in her life, she’ll tell her dad goodbye and walk out the door.

Victor will rant about this being insanity and will wish Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) had been able to extend the spa trip.

That way, Ashland would’ve been gone by the time Victoria got back.

Nevertheless, Nikki will point out that Victoria was determined to come home early – with or without her.

Adam will pipe up about not being surprised, but he’ll extend his sympathy to the rest of the Newmans before taking off.

There’ll be more concerns about the game Ashland is playing and how he could devastate Victoria if he cuts her loose now.

Victor will assure Nikki that he’s not giving up on their daughter, but she’ll still worry about Ashland convincing her to shut them all out of her life completely.

“The hell he will!” Victor will declare before stomping out of the office.

In Ashland’s suite, Victoria will return frustrated – though she’ll admit that went about as well as she expected.

Ashland will know Victor’s not going to let Victoria go without a fight, so he’ll think they have to be prepared for whatever comes next.

Victoria will assume most of Victor’s anger will be directed at Ashland, so she’ll suggest leaving now and not giving her father the chance to strike.

Although Ashland won’t want Victoria to rush into anything, she’ll be excited about running away together.

Victoria will think they should seek their fresh start in New York since Ashland already has friends and connections there.

After Victoria talks about creating a new empire, Ashland will like the picture she’s painting.

Victoria will mention having something important to take care of, so she’ll delay Ashland on calling the pilot just yet.

Once Victoria leaves, Victor will show up at Ashland’s door and ask if he thought it was going to be that easy – that he’d just walk away with everything he wanted. “Think again,” Victor will insist.

At Newman Media on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Sally will show up after being summoned via text.

Adam will admit that Victoria just blew up her whole career and saved him the trouble.

That news will amaze Sally, who’ll learn Victoria quit Newman and is running off to some love nest with Ashland.

Adam will be tickled pink over Victor losing it on Victoria and will wish Sally could’ve been there to see it.

Sally will wonder who’s in charge now – if it’s Nikki or if Victor might step in. Adam won’t have a clue, but he’ll plan to sit back with some popcorn and see how this whole thing plays out.

Meanwhile, Victoria will track Billy down at the office and admit she’s moving away.

After Victoria explains her desire to cut ties with her family, Billy will decide he can get behind her breaking free and living her own life.

“But if this has anything to do with Ashland, we’re going to have a serious problem,” Billy will warn.

In the park, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will bump into Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), who’ll gush over her Jabot lab tour and let him smell a perfume sample on her hand.

Allie will also reflect on getting to know her family and going against what her dad wanted.

Noah will think Keemo Nguyen (Philip Moon) would’ve been glad over the Abbotts’ warm welcome, so Allie will appreciate him saying so.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will hug Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) following their Paris honeymoon.

There’ll be talk about all the memories they made and the gifts they brought home, including a scarf for Sharon.

Mariah will ask how Sharon’s holding up after Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death, but Sharon will seem genuinely OK.

Sharon will end up mentioning the Newman drama since Ashland and Victoria have separated, but she’ll think Victoria can lean on her family.

Once Noah brings Allie in for coffee, they’ll joke around with Sharon, Mariah and Tessa. Nick will also arrive and get a beret that the newlyweds brought back for him, so that’ll lead to some laughs.

Tessa will mention having a sore throat lately and will opt for Chamomile tea ahead of her tour.

Once Tessa is home with Mariah, she’ll admit she probably talked too much downstairs and will hope another hot beverage helps.

Mariah and Tessa will discuss staying connected during Tessa’s upcoming tour before talk turns to their adoption plans.

Tessa and Mariah will agree about having so much to look forward to.

Back in the coffeehouse, Sharon will gasp as Nick admits Victoria took Ashland back.

Nick will rant about Ashland being a master manipulator and brainwashing Victoria, who ditched the CEO seat and is willing to run away with him.

After Nick seeks advice, Sharon will admit that it’s futile to try talking Victoria out of a decision she’s already made.

The best thing Nick can do is promise to be there for Victoria no matter what and let her know there’s no shame if she comes to him for an exit route.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria and Ashland have some serious challenges ahead of them, so stay tuned.
