The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 2, reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will order Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) to fake a relapse, divorce Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) and disappear from her life forever.
At Newman Media, Victor will take a call from Victoria and arrange for a meeting there.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will seem fed up over not having all the details and will ultimately storm out – leaving Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to contend with Victoria once she arrives.
Meanwhile, Ashland will hang back in Victoria’s office after Victor’s text about speaking in private.
Victor will show up and lock the door as he confronts Ashland over his cancer charade. He’ll spell out everything he knows and will insist the game is over.
Ashland will act like that’s outrageous conjecture and will make excuses for why he couldn’t possibly be lying about his cancer.
However, Victor will push Ashland to cut the bull and listen up.
Victor will explode over Ashland using his family like a pawn and will refuse to let Victoria feel like a victim of a cruel hoax.
Victor will declare that he would rather have Victoria’s heart broken than have her spirit broken by the likes of Ashland.
Victor will warn Ashland that he’s going to fake a cancer relapse and go back to Peru alone.
When Victor deems the time is right, he’ll insist Ashland’s going to call Victoria and tell her that he wants a divorce – no explanation and no argument.
Then, Victor will want Ashland to revert control of Newman-Locke to Victoria as part of the settlement and disappear from her life forever.
Ashland will ask why he would ever walk away from the woman he loves.
Despite Victor’s insistence that nothing about this relationship is genuine, Ashland will claim he loves Victoria more than he’s ever loved anyone in his entire life.
Ashland also won’t think Victoria would just sit back and accept the divorce.
When Victoria saunters in Newman Media, she’ll be annoyed over Victor taking off for some unknown reason.
Adam will keep Victoria busy with expansion ideas for as long as he can, but she’ll eventually decide she can’t devote any more time to this and take off.
At Crimson Lights on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will assure Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) wedding will come together since it’s meant to be.
When Nick shows up looking angry, Sharon will corner him alone and convince him to open up about what’s wrong.
Nick will confess that Ashland faked his cancer to get his hands on the company and will admit he’s waiting on Victor to carry out a plan.
Although Nick will worry Victoria is just going to give Ashland a pass again, Sharon won’t think Nick is giving his sister enough credit.
As a cancer survivor, Sharon will be appalled over Ashland’s actions and will feel confident there’s “no way in hell” Victoria will be all right with this.
After Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) walks in looking like he just rolled out of bed, he’ll apologize for making noise when he came home.
Noah will mention that he stayed up all night catching up with a girl from high school, though he’ll clarify she’s just a friend.
Once Sharon turns her attention back to Nick and his Victoria problem, he’ll decide he has to do something right now.
That’ll send Nick back to Newman Media, where Adam will admit he couldn’t keep Victoria there any longer.
Adam will feel like a collision course is inevitable since Victoria will be on her way back to Newman-Locke.
As for Victoria, she’ll return to find her office door locked and will call out for Ashland.
Victor and Ashland will glare at each other as their faceoff is interrupted inside.
At their apartment, Mariah will disconnect from a phone call with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and complain to Tessa about being left out of the loop on Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) medical crisis.
Mariah will feel like she should’ve been included as the baby’s godmother, but she’ll at least be grateful that Abby spared her from freaking out.
Tessa will distract Mariah with wedding ideas and will share her vision for creating a hybrid version of their perfect wedding day.
Mariah will keep overthinking the details, but Tessa will suggest their love for each other is what matters most.
Tessa will feel “beyond lucky” that they got to this point, so Mariah will relax and suggest that sounds like a song as well as a title.
When Mariah and Tessa join Sharon, Rey and Noah at Crimson Lights, they’ll reveal that they have an “announcement about an announcement” that their wedding is impending.
Tessa and Mariah will hope for lots of input and expertise as they gear up for their big day soon.
