The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 11, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will find that she can’t get over Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) the spy spots something surprising. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will also have a bad idea – at least from Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) perspective.
First, Chelsea will feel like she needs closure, but she won’t be sure how to get it. The loss of Rey has hit harder than Chelsea ever could’ve imagined.
It’s been a struggle for Chelsea to deal with her deep feelings for Rey in the aftermath of his death.
Even if Rey had lived, Chelsea doubts those feelings could’ve gone anywhere due to Rey’s commitment to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
At the same time, Chelsea is left with this gaping hole since Rey meant so much to her.
Now that Rey’s gone, it’ll remain difficult for Chelsea to get on with her life.
While Chelsea wrestles with lingering love, Lauren will fight to protect her husband.
Michael’s new venture will worry Lauren, so that’ll lead to some bickering between them.
Y&R fans know Michael wants Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) to pay for all the Peru drama, but Lauren will fret over the possibility of more danger.
Michael’s new venture will likely tie in with Ashland’s takedown, so it’s easy to see why Lauren will fear it’s a bad idea.
Nevertheless, Michael will stand his ground on his goal and leave Lauren frustrated.
Since we know Michael will cross paths with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) at The Grand Phoenix and react to her comeback, this could bring a chance for them to commiserate.
Diane will be down in the dumps over a snag with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) – and Michael will hate the fact that he can’t get on the same page with Lauren.
Phyllis will witness an interaction that catches her by surprise, so that may involve Diane and Michael at the hotel bar.
If so, you can bet Phyllis will corner Michael and warn him not to let his guard down!
