The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 18, tease that it’ll be Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) lucky day while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) takes charge. We’ll also see Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) inch toward a big change in perspective, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Y&R.
As Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) wedding winds down, they’ll have one last tradition to honor.
The flowers will end up in Jack’s hands following the bouquet toss, so this could mean his luck is about to turn around when it comes to romance.
Could remarriage be in the cards for Jack and Phyllis down the road?
Time will tell, but Phyllis will be busy dealing with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) drama for now.
Phyllis will want to take care of this wedding crasher, especially since Diane will keep pressuring Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to see Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).
Whether Kyle allows it at the reception or not, Phyllis will surely want her chance to rip into Diane for showing up uninvited.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) already warned Diane to stay away from Summer, but Phyllis will no doubt echo the idea once she has another showdown with her rival.
On a happier note, Allie should start to feel a little less awkward.
Jack is working hard to make Allie feel accepted, so we’ll see a change in Allie’s demeanor as she begins to relax a bit more.
Allie should eventually see the potential for Genoa City to become home sweet home, so that’s another change to look forward to in the coming weeks.
Jack clearly adores his new granddaughter and will want to keep her as close as possible.
In the meantime, Mariah and Tessa will prepare to head home for the remainder of their wedding night.
Although they’ll enjoy celebrating with all their friends publicly, they’ll also want the opportunity to celebrate this special occasion alone.
