The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 16, reveals Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)) will have a fashionloan offer for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) while Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) scores a new apartment.
At Chelsea’s facility on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, she’ll assure Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that she’s been cleared for release – though her treatment will continue through her support group and outpatient therapy.
Adam will want to hold off on telling Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) the details of Chelsea’s ordeal, but Chelsea will think it’s important to tell Connor the truth.
However, Adam will suggest Connor already feels guilty for how he handled the Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) half-brother situation.
It’ll worry Adam since Connor might blame himself when he learns how bad things got for Chelsea.
By the time Adam leaves, Chelsea will be second-guessing the decision she already made with Dr. Malone (Anna Khaja).
The doc will convince Chelsea to stick with her original plan since she’s ready to come clean to Connor.
Chelsea will also think she needs to explain everything to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), so Dr. Malone will feel confident Chloe will support her since she’s a good friend.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will talk to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about Chelsea being released following one last inpatient therapy session.
Since it’s obviously not a good idea for Chelsea to return to The Grand Phoenix, Sharon will have another idea in mind.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) relocated to the tack house for more space since Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) offered it.
That means the apartment above the coffeehouse will be empty, so Sharon will hope Chelsea agrees to move in.
Once Adam arrives, he’ll seek Sharon’s opinion on the Connor dilemma, but she’ll side with Dr. Malone – and so will Billy.
Adam will ultimately pull Billy aside for a private discussion, so he’ll thank him for saving Chelsea’s life.
That said, Adam will wonder about Billy’s continued involvement in Chelsea’s recovery and what he stands to gain from it.
Billy will assure Adam that he just wants Chelsea to be healthy and happy. Since Billy made a promise to Chelsea, he’ll want to be sure he sees her through this.
Adam will wonder how Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) feels about Billy taking such an interest in Chelsea, but Billy will warn that it’s none of Adam’s business.
As for Adam’s concerns about Connor, Billy will suggest they need to be taking their cues from Dr. Malone.
After Billy and Sharon pick Chelsea up from her facility, Adam will return and tell Dr. Malone that he had second thoughts about his earlier conversation with his ex.
Dr. Malone will mention that Chelsea already left with Billy and Sharon before pointing out how much support Chelsea’s going to need.
Adam will promise that Chelsea’s going to get it.
As Adam walks through the park afterward, he’ll seem tormented by bad memories. Adam will flash back to difficult moments with Chelsea, Sally, Chloe and Nick – like when Sally suggested Adam was toxic and the time she accused him of trying to best his brother.
Back at Crimson Lights, Chelsea will be blown away by Sharon’s kindness and will accept the offer to rent the apartment.
Chelsea will pull Sharon into a hug before heading upstairs to check out her new place.
After Sharon takes off, Chelsea will fret over Billy taking so much time away from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Once Chelsea realizes Lily doesn’t have the whole story, she’ll push Billy to tell her the truth so she doesn’t get the wrong idea.
In the park, Sally and Chloe will strategize about how to jumpstart the next chapter of their careers. As Nick appears, Chloe will think this would be easier if Sally would just accept his offer to help.
After Chloe suggests Nick could put in a good word with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) at Marchetti, he’ll admit he doesn’t interfere in his daughter’s business.
Nick will have a better plan and will offer a loan so that Sally can start a fashion label with Chloe.
Sally will try to decline the offer immediately, but Chloe will push her to slow down and think about this.
Once Chloe steps away for a phone call with the babysitter, Nick will assure Sally that he’s just talking about a simple loan.
Sally will think this sounds like a colossally bad idea, but Nick will contend that all the best adventures of his life started out with those exact words.
Nick will also offer to get drinks with Sally later, so she’ll take him up on that one.
After Nick leaves, Chloe and Sally will bicker about whether they should accept Nick’s loan.
Sally will act like she learned her lesson with Adam about the importance of keeping her personal life and professional life separate.
Nevertheless, Chloe will push Sally to promise she’ll at least think about Nick’s proposal.
At Society, Adam will be at the bar when Nick arrives and admits he’s meeting someone.
After Adam suggests he can guess who it is, Sally will walk in and create some awkwardness.
