The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, November 2, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will get some alarming news while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) gets a victory over Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also face some Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) drama, so here’s what Y&R viewers can look forward to.
For starters, Kyle and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will return home from Costa Rica with Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez). It won’t take long for Kyle to realize something’s up, so he may grill Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about what he’s missed.
Of course, Kyle has definitely missed a lot now that Diane has confessed to getting blackmailed twice – first by Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and then by Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Diane was forced into being a money-laundering mule and got tangled up in a Tucker alliance once he scored evidence against her. Jack may decide it’s not his story to tell, but he could at least warn Kyle that Diane hasn’t been honest about her time in Los Angeles.
As for Phyllis, she’ll feel like she’s achieved a victory over Diane. Jack is struggling with trust issues now, so Phyllis will assume Kyle won’t be far behind.
There may even be some new evidence that Phyllis hopes will highlight Diane’s shadiness. Regardless, Phyllis will want to make sure Diane ends up on a flight headed anywhere else!
However, Diane is a fighter and can’t be counted out. Although Phyllis will feel like she’s got the upper hand, she shouldn’t ignore Diane’s ability to escape tight spots.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll get updates on Nick’s latest crush and wonder what’s gotten into his son. Victor already loathed the idea of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) being with Sally, but he’ll be even less supportive when it comes to Nick’s pursuit.
Although Nick has backed off for now, Victor will worry about this love triangle turning into a major war. Since Adam still loves Sally and could fight back, Victor may warn Nick to find someone else and avoid poking the bear.
Sally won’t be worthy of Nick as far as Victor’s concerned – especially after what she did to Summer. Victor will basically act like Nick and Sally’s romance could turn into a full-blown disaster.
Nevertheless, the heart wants what it wants, so Sally will remain at the center of a brother battle in the coming weeks. We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R details emerge.
