The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, November 9, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will form a second-chance Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) plan while the ice queen Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) strikes again.
At Newman Media, Sally will gather up the remainder of her things, but she’ll be taking too long as far as Victoria’s concerned. It’ll be humiliating when Victoria brings in Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and insists Sally needs to move it along since her replacement is there.
Although Nate will feel uncomfortable, Victoria will be as cold as ice and act like it’s just business. Sally will try to put on a brave face, but she’ll definitely walk out of that office feeling even more defeated.
Over with Nick, he’ll lay down the law with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Phyllis might throw out some Sally insults and take jabs at Nick’s romantic interest, but he’ll think his ex needs to respect boundaries.
Next, Nate will catch up with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) again and see where they stand. Now that Elena’s had a little more time to process Nate’s Newman Media CEO position, she’ll apparently decide she accepts it.
Elena and Nate’s relationship has some big flaws, but it looks like they’ll be on the same page about trying to make this work. That doesn’t mean Nate and Elena will be successful, but they’ll at least achieve some form of peace for now.
At Society, Adam will open up to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about the blunders he’s made with Sally. After Jack realizes the depth of Adam’s love, he’ll push his friend to prove it and may leave Adam inspired to win Sally back.
However, it seems Adam may be too late since Sally’s about to make a major announcement to Nick. Sally will reveal that she’s made her choice – and it looks like she’ll pick Nick over Adam.
Of course, it might be better if Sally chose herself in this case, but November sweeps points to an epic Newman brother battle. It makes sense that Sally will launch it by choosing Nick, so that may be where this storyline is headed.
Y&R fans will also be eager to see the aftermath of Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) catching Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) hookup. That should be on the way in Wednesday’s episode as well.
