The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, October 26 Recap – Chelsea MIA for Connor Halloween Fun – Lily Explodes at Billy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 26, teases that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will go MIA for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) when it’s time for Halloween fun. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also explode at Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), so let’s talk about what’s coming up.

At Crimson Lights, Billy and Lily will talk about Connor briefly before they discuss Billy moving on from Chancellor-Winters.

Although Billy will want to make the transition easier, Lily will seem annoyed and act like she’s got everything covered.

Next, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will compliment Connor’s zombie costume, but Connor won’t think Chelsea will be there to see him since she’s late all the time and always apologizing.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will watch from afar before approaching Connor and Adam’s table.

After Adam decides to go check on Chelsea, he’ll make an excuse and ask Sally to keep Connor company.

While Connor happily chats with Sally about candy, costumes and movies, Adam will show up at Chelsea’s hotel suite.

Chelsea will drag herself out of bed and realize she’s late after missing Adam’s call.

Since Connor has already been feeling like he’s not the priority, Adam will admit this situation didn’t help.

Once Chelsea says she’s really sorry, Adam will suggest a heads-up if she has to change her plans in the future.

However, Adam will add that Chelsea shouldn’t beat herself up and will wait for her to clean herself up a bit.

When Chelsea walks in the coffeehouse with Adam, she’ll seem sad as she watches Sally connect with Connor since he’s shutting his mom out.

Chelsea will gush over Connor’s costume and suggest taking pics before his Halloween party, but Connor won’t be very enthusiastic.

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will insist she’s moving forward with her decision to replace Sally – hopefully with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will object since Sally has proven her loyalty, but Nate has shown he’s willing to betray his own family.

That’ll leave Nick with concerns about Nate turning against the Newmans.

Nevertheless, Victoria will act like Nick’s personal relationship with Sally is affecting his ability to be objective.

Regardless, Victoria will make it clear that this is her call to make.

Whether Nate comes on board or not, Victoria will insist both Sally and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) are out.

Once Nick accepts that he can’t change Victoria’s mind, he’ll opt to break the news himself.

Soon after on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Nick will find Sally at Crimson Lights and admit they need to talk.

At Nate’s penthouse, he’ll leave Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) an apologetic voicemail before Billy arrives.

Since Billy already ranted about the backstabbing, he’ll think he should congratulate Nate for being a bigger screwup than him.

Billy will play up Nate’s good guy reputation and act like he can still turn things around with his family.

When Devon finally calls Nate back, Billy will urge him to say he’s sorry.

Once Billy leaves, Devon will agree to meet with Nate and will show up at his place.

It’ll seem like they’re going to find common ground at first, but Nate’s refusal to admit which CEO worked with will set Devon off again.

Although Nate will claim to be sorry for his actions, that won’t be enough when he’s leaving the company vulnerable to another attack.

Nate will suggest forgiveness takes time, but Devon will fire back that it’ll take all the time and will wonder why Nate deserves another chance.

While Devon storms out on Nate, Billy will stop by Lily’s office. That’ll leave Lily irritated since she already told Billy she could handle things without him.

Billy will talk about wanting to alleviate some of the pressure on Lily and will admit he just talked to Nate.

The news will upset Lily, who’ll feel like Billy should’ve run that decision by her first.

Billy will argue that he wanted to do his part before he resigned, but Lily won’t believe this is about helping her family heal.

Lily will contend that Billy just feels guilty for walking away and won’t think meddling in the Nate situation is helpful.

As Lily grows increasingly agitated, she’ll declare that it’s her company and her family. Lily will warn Billy that she’s going to handle it the way she sees fit!

Back at Newman Enterprises, Nate will arrive after being summoned to Victoria’s office.

That’ll lead to Victoria asking how Nate would feel about taking over as CEO of Newman Media.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate has a big opportunity ahead of him, so stay tuned for more corporate chaos.
