The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of April 18-22 tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will make a tragic mistake – and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will endure a crushing blow. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also have to clean up a mess, so here’s what fans can expect.
First, there’ll be some situation where Jack feels like he has to undo the damage.
That should tie in with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and her latest Genoa City comeback.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) might end up hearing the news of Diane’s survival from someone besides Jack – like Diane herself if she gets impatient.
If Kyle returns early and faces a Diane shocker without warning, that could really be a disaster!
Whatever the case, Jack may end up facing backlash for not telling Kyle the truth right away.
There’s also the potential for Diane to be involved in a horrible car accident that Y&R insiders are predicting.
The buzz has been steadily growing about a multi-car crash in Genoa City.
Victoria will land in hot water and get grilled, so that backs up other insider hints about her potentially causing the crash.
That could lead to quite tragic consequences since Rey’s exit is rapidly approaching.
The clues point to Rey suffering deadly injuries and not surviving his involvement in the accident.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will face a nightmare all over again.
Sharon already lost Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) following a car crash, so that should make losing Rey to one even more painful.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) may also be part of the car accident chaos since Rey should be on his way back from the Chicago hockey game with them.
Regardless, it sounds like that trip will be Rey’s last.
As for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll be in self-preservation mode.
Phyllis will protect herself in some way, so that could be about Diane or even her own heart.
It’s clear that Phyllis and Jack are growing even closer, but Phyllis may be determined to keep some friendship boundaries in place.
That could become tougher as feelings get stronger on both sides.
