The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of April 25 through April 29 teases that Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) survival will make Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) cry – and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will agree to walk Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) down the aisle.
First, we should talk about Mariah and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) wedding plans.
Although they’ll be torn over whether to have a big party in the aftermath of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) death, they’ll ultimately decide a celebration might lift everyone’s spirits.
Once Tessa and Mariah move forward with their nuptials, they’ll lock in a few more details ahead of their Friday the 13th wedding – May 13 to be exact.
Mariah will turn to Nick with an important favor to ask, so she’ll catch him off guard at Crimson Lights.
After Mariah points out that Nick has loved her like a daughter, she’ll mention Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) and what an amazing father he was to her.
Mariah will hope Nick’s willing to walk her down the aisle, so Nick will no doubt insist he’d be honored.
Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers say Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will inform Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that Diane is alive and well.
Nikki will find out Diane is back in Genoa City, so she’ll insist on confronting her old enemy– especially since Nikki thought she killed Diane in self-defense for so many years.
You can bet quite a faceoff is brewing once Nikki sees Diane after all this time.
As for Kyle, he’ll also learn Diane faked her death, so that’ll bring a flood of complicated emotions.
Jack will explain everything to Kyle, who’ll be floored and crushed that Diane would do this to him.
Kyle will have to ask himself what kind of mother would abandon her young son and let him believe she was gone forever.
It’s a wound that never truly healed for Kyle, so he’ll need someone to talk to.
Of course, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is always willing to listen to an Abbott in need.
Traci will tell Kyle that he can talk to her about anything, but he’ll have tears in his eyes and won’t even know where to begin.
Traci always knows the right thing to say, so she should have some words of wisdom once Kyle opens up about Diane’s return and everything he’s feeling.
Kyle will ultimately agree to reunite with Diane and hear her out, so that’ll bring some emotional scenes later.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle and Diane will face a rocky road as they try to repair their relationship, but they’ll get there eventually!
