The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of April 25 Update – Sharon’s Bittersweet Surprise – Chloe Quizzes Chelsea

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of April 25-29 teases that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will get a bittersweet surprise while Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) quizzes Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also deliver a warning, so there’ll be some big things happening in Genoa City.

For starters, Sharon will cave in when it comes to Celeste Rosales’ (Eva LaRue) request to have Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) funeral in Miami.

Sharon will ultimately decide it’s what Rey would want, so Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will help out with some of the arrangements.

However, it wouldn’t be right if Rey’s nearest and dearest in Genoa City just ignored his death completely.

Y&R spoilers say Sharon will get an unexpected invitation, so that could involve a little informal memorial service.

It looks like Sharon will gather with some of her loved ones at Crimson Lights to talk about Rey and think back on some powerful memories.

Next, Sharon will be pleased when she finds out Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) are doing what she asked.

Tessa and Mariah are moving forward with their wedding plans, so Sharon will assure them it’s what she wants – and what Rey would want, too.

Mariah will even ask Nick to walk her down the aisle in a touching moment.

It’ll be hard for anyone connected to Sharon right now, so they’ll need to grab these slivers of joy where they can.

Over with Victor, he’ll feel the need to warn Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Victor knows Adam has been eager to take over the Newman throne permanently, but he may warn his son not to take advantage of Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) crisis.

Victoria is dealing with even more now that she’s recovering from a car crash, but she’ll keep insisting she’s fine and will want to be reinstated as CEO immediately.

Victor and Victoria may do a little more clashing when it comes to that goal, so we’ll see what his final decision is.

Speaking of decisions, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have a big one to make.

After Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) tells Kyle about Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) return from the dead, he’ll have to decide if he can push past the pain and let her back in his life.

After a sweet conversation with heart-of-gold Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Kyle will end up reuniting with Diane – though they’ll have a lot to sort out.

Diane can’t fix her mistakes overnight, but she’ll just be looking for a chance to try.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will also have an opportunity to blast Diane for her faked death and rehash their messy history, but Diane will want to put the past to rest.

Of course, Nikki will believe Diane is the same conniving snake she was years ago.

Victor will agree and do his best to shield Nikki from any other tricks Diane might have up her sleeve.

Jack will hate that Kyle’s going through so much, but there’ll be a bright spot in all this.

With Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) back in town, Grandpa Jack will be on cloud nine!

Over with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), he’ll promise Victoria something and perhaps tug at her heartstrings.

If Ashland can keep showing Victoria his honest and vulnerable side, he might stand a better shot of getting back together.

A familiar problem will return for Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), who thought she put Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) in her place.

Unfortunately, Imani didn’t truly get the message since she’ll be flirting with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) all over again.

As for Chloe, she’ll check on Chelsea following Rey’s death.

Chloe had noticed Chelsea and Rey’s growing connection, so she may push Chelsea to admit she wanted more than friendship.

Chelsea will get defensive, but Chloe may promise this is a no-judgment zone.

It’s not like it matters now that Rey is gone anyway, so Chloe will quiz Chelsea and urge her to be honest about what was in her heart.

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will discover a shocker that could be connected to the accident investigation, so he’ll definitely dig into that.

Could it lead to questions about whether Ashland’s story really adds up? Maybe Victoria is guiltier than Ashland is letting on.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will also divulge a secret to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so we’ll see if that’s something romantic or perhaps more serious.

We should mention that Sally was missing when all the crash drama was going on, so it’s possible she witnessed something.

Over with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), he’ll feel like Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is bossing him around.

Lily will insist on both of them attending all the usual press conferences and soirees to launch their merger, but Devon will be wary of landing in the spotlight.

When Lily isn’t keen on compromising, it’ll bring some tension and leave Devon worried about whether they can work as a team.

Lily and Devon have to learn to meet each other halfway if this merger’s truly going to work.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say some curveballs could be coming up for Devon and Lily, so stay tuned.
