The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of April 4 Update – Victor Cancels Tuscany – Sally Shows Adam Devotion – Diane Cornered

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of April 4-8 teases that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will prove her devotion to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) stands guard. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also slam the brakes, so there’ll be some highs and lows happening on Y&R.

First, Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) dilemma will turn into an opportunity as far as Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is concerned.

Since business will need Chelsea and Adam’s attention, Rey will gladly agree to take Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to a hockey game in Chicago.

While Chelsea sings Rey’s praises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will downplay the danger she’s in.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will plead with Victoria and desperately try to talk her out of the Tuscany trip, but Victoria will think she can handle Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).

Next, Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) romantic evening will be derailed, but she won’t really mind.

Although Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) won’t make it home on time, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will stop by as friendly neighbors.

Nate will struggle to move past all the Ashland drama, but he’ll do his best to look to the future – one where he works for Devon and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) following the merger.

After Nate joins the party, Elena will talk about the benefits of Nate working with family before Devon proposes a sweet toast.

Back with Ashland, he’ll hit a roadblock that’ll affect Victoria as well.

Victor will stand his ground against Ashland’s escape, so that apparently means Victoria won’t be taking her husband to Italy. So much for Tuscany!

Victoria will be forced to privately share her scheme with her family, so she’ll divulge her goal of setting Adam up.

Adam needs to look guilty of framing Ashland if Victoria’s plan is going to work, so he’ll negotiate a temporary CEO extension and keep manipulating things behind the scenes.

Sally will be moving on up at Newman Media – that is if Adam’s plot to permanently oust Victoria plays out.

Since Sally will like the idea of running Newman Media herself, she’ll have even more reasons to show Adam pure devotion.

After Adam and Sally put their heads together to scheme, Victor will slam on the brakes and want to do things his way.

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will also use Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) as a sounding board, so she should appreciate the way he’s trusting her.

In Los Angeles, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will struggle to believe that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is actually alive.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will bring Phyllis up to speed and insist it’s true, so the two of them will corner Diane back at the house.

Phyllis and Diane will face off as they rehash the past, but Diane will make it clear that she’s all about the future – namely the one she could have if she rebuilds her relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Next, Ashley will remain in protective mode when it comes to letting Allie Horton (Nguyen) join the family.

Although Ashley won’t want to be cold, she’ll think they have to be careful about who they let in the inner circle.

Of course, Allie is a sweet young woman and was duped just like Jack.

It’s Diane that Ashley needs to be worried about – and she’ll indeed get some shocking Diane news sooner or later.

In the meantime, Victoria will continue to plan some bold moves against Ashland.

Victoria will remain confident, but Billy will face a snag after pitching a project to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

If that project ties in with Ashland, Victoria and the rest of the Newman clan, Lily will have some good reasons to want Billy kept out of the mess!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will work hard to secure Ashland’s downfall, so stay tuned.

CDL’s the place to be for fantastic Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates, so pop back in soon.
