The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of April 4-8 tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will ruin Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) plot while Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) faces a roadblock. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will also face off, so let’s talk about what’s ahead.
For starters, Ashland will take a bold stand, but Victor will come along and derail his plans.
Y&R spoilers say Victor will work to block Ashland’s escape, so that trip to Tuscany with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may not pan out.
Elsewhere, Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will continue their efforts to take advantage of Victoria’s problems.
After Sally and Adam come up with their next move, Victor will promptly thwart it.
Since Victor doesn’t want Adam to exploit Victoria’s situation, he’ll no doubt scold his son and argue that this is a time for the Newmans to band together instead.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have a plan of his own, which could prove far more helpful to Victoria.
However, Victoria doesn’t seem willing to accept help from anyone at all right now – and that could set her up for more trouble.
Victor will make a significant vow to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), so he may promise to eliminate Ashland – one way or another!
Of course, Victor might also promise to keep Victoria safe and reassure Nikki when it comes to her growing concerns.
In the meantime, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will grow closer to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) vetoes Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) new project.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will also face a snag when it comes to something she cooks up for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so a surprise may be derailed.
As for Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), he’ll continue to keep the lines of communication open with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) by confiding in her.
After Phyllis senses something strange is going on, she’ll hop on a flight to Los Angeles.
That’ll lead to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) divulging a secret – and it’s sure to throw Phyllis for a loop.
Phyllis will ultimately find out Diane is alive and will have questions about her shady agenda.

Back in Genoa City, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will continue to have a nagging feeling about the drama in store for the Abbott clan.
Ashley is right about the chaos that’s looming since Diane is sure to cause quite a stir in GC eventually.
