The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of August 22 – Adam’s Evil Side – Victor Pushed Too Far – Phyllis’ Useful New Friend

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 22-26 tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will show off his evil side while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gets pushed too far. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also find a useful new friend, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.

For starters, Victor will fume over Adam’s lack of respect and loyalty. As Victor officially runs out of patience with his son, it should lead to a fierce faceoff with Adam.

However, Adam has reverted to bad habits lately and will continue down a sinister path.

Look for Adam to recruit a minion named Lucas (Aaron Schwartz), who’ll show up in Genoa City after being summoned by his new boss.

Adam will have a special assignment for Lucas to carry out – a wicked one that could spell big trouble for the Newman clan.

This could lead to Adam scoring the evidence he needs and perhaps blackmailing Victor with deadly Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) cover-up proof.

Whatever the case, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) should remain stuck in the drama as Newman Media’s CEO.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was impressed over Sally’s plan to stick to the facts and not dwell on the Ashland story if they indeed had to cover new info.

Of course, Sally might change her mind if this scandal explodes and demands the public’s attention.

Over with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll do something that’s way out of bounds.

It looks like Chelsea may go against Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) wishes and tell Johnny Abbott (last played by Holden and Ryan Hare) that she’s his biological mother.

If so, Victoria will be furious over Chelsea overriding her decision.

Despite Victoria’s desire to wait on telling Johnny the truth, Chelsea may decide there’s no time like the present and drop the bio mom bomb.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) could find himself caught in the middle of Chelsea and Victoria’s feud, so he may have to pick a side as the hostility heats up.

Over with Phyllis, she’ll make a new pal. Of course, Phyllis isn’t the most likable person ever and doesn’t usually go around striking up friendships.

There’s a chance Phyllis will make this new friend of hers with an agenda in mind.

It’d be easy for Phyllis to get closer to another Marchetti employee and use him or her as part of the Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) sabotage plot.

Regardless, Phyllis will get to know someone who could potentially be useful and will keep up her efforts to destroy Diane.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say the week of August 22-26 will bring some surprises, so stay tuned!
