The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 29-September 2 tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will take a hit while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) face off. Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will also explode at Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), so here’s what viewers can expect.
For starters, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will remain firmly committed to her Diane takedown goal.
That’ll lead to a situation where Nikki spins a situation around on Diane and tries to make her suffer as a result.
We know Diane has some scenes coming up with Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales), the investigative reporter who’s writing that scandalous story about her.
Perhaps Nikki will arrange a little trap for Diane, so that could certainly leave her squirming if she’s asked to comment on her shady past.
Diane should take a bit of a hit, but she’ll work hard to keep making progress with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) anyway.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Sally will find another reason to spar. These two always manage to get under each other’s skin – especially when it comes to the topic of love interests.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could be a factor in why Sally and Chelsea face off, but so could Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Sally might call Chelsea out for going after men in committed relationships, but Chelsea will no doubt hold her own against her rival.
As for Billy’s romance with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), will it head downhill after he officially steps away from the podcasts?
Lily feared Billy might resent her eventually – and we’d say she’s right to worry about that!
Over with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), their connection will deepen as they hit the sheets.
Allie and Noah will take their relationship to the next level as they make love, so some steamy scenes are on the way.
Other Y&R spoilers say Abby will run out of patience when it comes to Chance and his moral high ground.
We’ll see Abby lose her temper as marriage conflict erupts over family loyalty.
Chance will remain under stress as he potentially comes to regret covering for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Will Chance’s guilty conscience still pose a threat?
Adam could be the wildcard in all this if he exposes Ashland evidence and forces the truth out in the open.
That could force the truth out of Chance as well, so this is a mess that could get messier for the overwhelmed detective.
