The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of August 29-September 2 teases that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will lean on Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) gets some awful news. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will also slam Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
First, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will freak Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) out by acting eerily calm and disinterested in sabotaging her.
Nikki will suggest Diane will take care of that on her own eventually, but Diane will suspect something’s afoot with Nikki and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Phyllis will meet with Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) and assure her this story’s going to be a real doozy.
Between Phyllis’ unique perspective and the dirt waiting to be dug up in LA, she’ll think Diane’s downfall is going to be a hit with readers.
Over with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), they’ll make love for the first time.
Noah will also share some info about his history and get to know Allie on a deeper level.
Once Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) stirs up trouble with Chelsea, a fierce faceoff will go down.
Sally will fume over Chelsea pulling Adam closer again so soon after his breakup.
Chelsea will defend her continued connection to Adam through co-parenting and the past they share.
However, Chelsea won’t really think Sally should be meddling in Adam’s business anymore.
Sally will ultimately realize Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) saw that showdown, so that’ll bring some embarrassment.
Even so, it may turn out to be the best thing that could’ve happened since Sharon will offer some valuable words of wisdom.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will school Adam on Newman loyalty and the price you pay when you go against your family.
We’ll see Victor find a way to handle Adam’s sinister side, but Adam certainly isn’t going to approve.
After Chance lets Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) down and potentially bolts from Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) birthday bash, he’ll cross paths with Chelsea.
Since Chelsea will still be feeling lost, Chance may be able to relate. Chelsea will lean on Chance, who’ll offer a pep talk and may get one from her as well.
As for Chloe, she may worry that Adam is sucking Chelsea back into his twisted web.
Chloe will put Adam on full blast and most likely warn him that Chelsea is off-limits.
Phyllis will end up keeping a promise she previously made to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who’ll find himself on the hot seat with Victor.
Nick’s judgment will be called into question, so he’ll have to deal with some dad drama.
After Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) mulls over the Diane situation a bit more, he’ll reach a startling decision.
Kyle will get some updates that leave him uneasy, so Jack may forgive Diane and leave his son even more concerned than before.
Diane’s bond with Jack should grow stronger, but she’ll have to fret over Talia’s investigation once she meets her.
Talia will stick to her Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) cover story, but Diane will have a hunch that she’s the real topic of this exposé – and she’ll be right!
Although Nikki and Phyllis will celebrate a victory, they may soon find they’ve partied prematurely.
Diane isn’t the type to surrender, so Phyllis and Nikki had better be ready for anything.
