The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of December 5-9 teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will override Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) while Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) makes a daring move. Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will also battle temptation, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
After Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) makes veiled threats at the Abbott house, he’ll face Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) wrath.
Kyle will confront Jeremy at The Grand Phoenix and warn him to steer clear of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) from now on.
Jeremy won’t listen, so that’ll put him at the Jabot offices later.
Jack will find Jeremy harassing Diane, so he’ll push him to name the amount of money it’ll take for Jeremy to leave town and never come back.
However, Jeremy will reject the cash and opt to stick around.
There’ll be more going on when it comes to Jeremy’s agenda, so we’ll see if he might have a deal with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Regardless, Tucker will reveal another alliance with someone in Genoa City.
That could be Jeremy now that he’s in town – or perhaps Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) could have a few Tucker tricks up his sleeve since Y&R spoilers say he’s got a secret.
As for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll listen to Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) plea for understanding.
After Sally gets caught following a hookup with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), she’ll try to convince Nick it was about closure rather than reconnecting.
It’ll be Nick who Sally wants now, so he’ll have to figure out if he wants her enough to deal with all the drama.
In the meantime, Nick will put Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) to the test, so she may struggle to bite her tongue as things get messy with Sally.
Of course, Summer will have bigger problems to contend with – like Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) decision to summon dangerous Jeremy to the home Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) lives in.
Summer will give Phyllis an earful before Jack gets in his ex’s face with an ultimatum.
Jack may warn that there’ll be consequences if Phyllis doesn’t back off Diane for good this time.
Diane will be tempted to break her vow and leave GC for the safety of the people she cares about.
There’ll be a close call after Diane packs up her stuff, but Jack, Kyle or even Harrison might change her mind.
Jack will try to back Jeremy into a corner later, but it won’t be that simple to get rid of this guy. Jeremy’s presence will snowball into a bigger issue as this storyline moves alone.
As for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she’ll pressure Noah to admit he still wants her.
Audra will definitely want Noah back, so she’ll do whatever she can to sleep with him and reel him back in.
Across town, Billy will assure Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) that she’s not a burden – no matter how that last conversation with Lily might’ve made her feel.
Lily encouraged Chelsea to lean on people besides Billy as well and mentioned that Billy couldn’t be there for her all the time.
Billy will override Lily on that and make sure Chelsea knows she can always count on him.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will also change his mind about something and work to repair the damage.
It sounds like Nate may have to take back some of his recent offers to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), especially if Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) pushes him to.
Elena may not be able to move her podcast back to Newman Media after all.
The romantic getaway in Los Angeles could also be off if Victoria wants only Nate by her side.
Next, Chance will make a daring move. That could involve taking a bold divorce approach and moving full-speed ahead with divorce papers for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway).
Then again, Chance and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will continue spending time together, so it might be interesting if he got caught up in a moment with her and planted a kiss.
No matter how this plays out, Y&R seems to be pushing Sharon and Chance toward each other for a new love story.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) could also be headed for couple status, so stay tuned to see how it all goes down!
