The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of January 10 Update – Ashland Slams Billy – Sally Baits Adam – Victor’s Deal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of January 10-14 teases that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will slam Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) offers up some bait to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also be presented with a tempting deal, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.

For starters, Y&R spoilers say Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will catch Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) off guard with a retirement suggestion.

Michael will be feeling content after a string of major victories, so he’ll wonder if he should quit while he’s ahead.

Christine Williams (Lauralee Belle) will pitch in with her thoughts before Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) offers Michael a job at Newman Media instead.

Lauren will think Michael’s family should weigh in as well, so Gloria Fisher-Bardwell (Judith Chapman) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will share their thoughts.

Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will offer an opinion as well, but she’ll point out that Michael’s got their support no matter what.

After Michael decides Lauren is the most important thing to him, he’ll choose retirement and hope to enjoy many more days with his lovely wife.

Next, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will recruit plenty of help for Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) surprise birthday bash – and it’ll indeed be a surprise since he’s birthday is over!

Although Nick celebrated the first time in Milan with Summer Newman (Hunter King), you can never have too many birthday parties.

Meanwhile, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will back Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) up completely in his pursuit of Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) custody rights.

Devon will work out some legal maneuvers with Amanda’s help and brace for the wrath of the Newmans.

Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Claire Egan) will try to support Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), who’ll still be facing an adjustment period as a dad and as a civilian.

After Abby mulls over Chance’s struggles, she’ll decide to give him a nudge toward seeking professional help.

Chance’s psychological state could be an important factor if this custody case moves full-speed ahead as planned.

On a lighter note, Sally will be her usual amusing and mysterious self. She’ll get Adam’s attention with an invitation, so he should take the bait.

Of course, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will remain agitated at the sight of Sally alone!

There’s no denying that Sally has talent, but she’ll be insufferable from Chelsea’s perspective. Chelsea is no picnic to work with either, so she’ll get under Sally’s skin and perhaps get her own buttons pushed in return.

At the ranch, Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will deliver a business proposal that interests Victor– one that involves consolidating Newman Media and ChancComm to fit together under Newman-Locke.

As much as Victor will like the idea, you can bet Adam won’t!

This could tie in with the troubling updates Adam will give Chelsea a little later. The fashion platform could be at stake depending on how all this shakes out, so Chelsea may indeed be upset over Victoria’s move.

Naturally, there’s also the potential for Chelsea to lash out over Sally again. If Adam changes his mind and decides to go on an official date with Sally, Chelsea will just have to get over it.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will land at the center of the family hostility that’s looming. She’ll try to play referee, but there’s only so much Nikki can do when it comes to the always clashing Newmans.

As for Ashland, he’ll get a stern lecture from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Lily will lash out over past issues, but she’ll make it clear that Billy is on the right path now.

Ashland, on the other hand, will find that truly hard to believe. He’ll think it’s only a matter of time until Billy screws up again, but maybe Ashland should worry about his own problems.

Ashland hasn’t been totally honest with Victoria about his history, so that could come back to haunt him in the not-too-distant future. We’ll keep you in the loop as other Y&R news becomes available.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland will have some tricky waters to navigate soon, so stay tuned.
