The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 18-22 tease that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will make a shocking move while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) works on a bold takeover. Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) news will also stun Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
For starters, Ashley will do something that leaves Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) taken aback.
There’ll be some stunt from Ashland that catches Jack off guard and most likely provokes his fury.
Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) has been excited about her new Jabot internship, but things might head south quickly.
There’s a chance Allie will make some mistake that Ashley lashes out over or something along those lines.
That would certainly shock Jack and leave him upset with Ashley for being too hard on Allie.
Of course, there’s also a chance the story could swing in the opposite direction.
Ashley might be so impressed with Allie that she has a bigger and better offer for her – perhaps one that would take Allie to Paris.
That wouldn’t make Jack happy either since he wants Allie to stay put in Genoa City.
Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) also wants Allie to stick around and keep moving down this romantic path, but he’ll remain distracted by his career crisis.
Nick expects Noah to take on an expanded New Hope role now that his dad is Newman’s COO, but that’s not really what Noah wants.
Y&R spoilers say Nick will take the reins in some way during the week of July 18-22.
Nick will realize he needs to take charge of a situation, so he might discover Noah’s dilemma and insist on handling things himself until a replacement can be found.
Then again, Nick’s takeover might have something to do with the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) drama happening with the Newman family.
Ashland will seemingly get cornered and stuck in a tight spot, but he’s not someone who should be underestimated.
That’s especially true since Adam was willing to form an alliance – one that could still come into play and make the rest of the Newman clan suffer.
Adam’s bombshell is going to throw Sally off her game soon, so that should involve his decision to break up with her – though Adam will no doubt think it’s for her own good.
This split will allow Sally to hopefully remain in the CEO spot at Newman Media and will protect her from the chaos Adam might unleash while teaming up with Ashland.
Although Ashland’s stint appears to be winding down, his last stand should bring some wild moments!
