The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of July 25-29 teases that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will get some surprising news while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) corners Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will also start a new mission, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
First, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will get some work-related advice from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), but her real goal will obviously be getting closer to him.
Although Jack will still dish out some harsh comments here and there, it’ll seem like Diane’s making progress.
However, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will pitch a plan to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that involves some fake sabotage.
Phyllis will think Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) needs to lose faith in Diane, so her solution will be to frame Diane for intentionally ruining things at Marchetti.
When Phyllis comes to Summer and hopes to revisit their discussion about a Marchetti job, alarm bells will go off.
Summer will grow suspicious after Phyllis’ surprising news and will wonder what kind of Diane angle her mom’s working now.
At Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) house, she’ll reel after Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) fight with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) turns deadly.
Ashland will have no pulse following a major fall and a serious head injury.
That’s why it’ll be so puzzling to Nick and Victoria when Ashland’s body vanishes!
It’ll leave the two of them wondering if the were wrong about Ashland dying or if Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) took charge.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will try to get to the bottom of what happened, but Victor may convince Victoria and Nick to say what he wants them to.
Victor will be running the show in the aftermath of all this and will be determined to get a grip on the Newman crisis.
Whether Ashland is still alive or not, Victor will refuse to let any harm come to Victoria.
Now that Victoria is settling back in as co-CEO, Victor will want to protect her spot at the top and spare Newman Enterprises from public drama.
After Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) plays therapist for a bit with Adam, he’ll be cornered by Sally.
It turns out Nick will have some guidance for Sally as well, but Adam is the real problem.
Sally knows Adam well enough to realize this split happened because of her Newman Media CEO position.
Despite telling Adam repeatedly she wanted him more, Adam is still pretending he doesn’t love Sally and wants to move on.
Nevertheless, Sally will ambush Adam with a question to ask.
We’ll see Sally seek a new beginning with Adam, so she’ll really pressure him and might even suggest sneaking around.
While Adam makes a difficult choice, Michael will be given some new orders.
Victor will put Michael to work on something important, so it might tie in with Ashland following his death – or “death” depending on what Y&R reveals.
Nick isn’t the kind of guy who likes cover-ups most of the time, so he’ll deal with an ethical dilemma.
Since the cops apparently won’t know the whole story, Nick will confide in Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about his regrets and concerns.
Kyle will also make sure Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) is as protected as possible.
No matter what Kyle ends up hearing or believing regarding Ashland, he’ll know he has to keep all that drama away from his son.
Other Y&R spoilers say Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will keep something under wraps.
There’ll be some secret that Mariah doesn’t want Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) to know, but Tessa may catch on fast.
It’s possible Mariah’s secret will involve something to boost Tessa’s mood after her surgery.
On the other hand, Mariah could hide info that’d dampen Tessa’s spirits if she knew – like updates on the tour she can no longer be part of.
Either way, Mariah isn’t great at keeping secrets, but Tessa is pretty good at sniffing them out!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’ll be some highs and lows happening in Genoa City, so stay tuned.
