The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of June 13-17 tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will consider a new job while Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) returns for a party. Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will also unravel some family mysteries, so let’s discuss what’s coming up on Y&R.
For starters, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will make a surprising pitch to Kyle.
Now that Jabot is all set to purchase Marchetti, Summer will think she knows the perfect person to run it.
A confused Kyle will ask who Summer means, so she’ll insist her brilliant husband should be in charge.
Summer serves as Marchetti’s creative director, but she’ll think Kyle’s CEO experience will prove helpful and make him the right person to steer the whole ship.
While Kyle mulls over Summer’s suggestion, the Chancellor-Winters merger will be celebrated.
The launch party is about to get underway at The Grand Phoenix, where all the key players will gather with reporters and guests.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are the CEOs behind this merger move, but the rest of the team will be there as well.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will show up along with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who’ll strut in with Jill on his arm.
Jill has been a big supporter of this merger idea from the get-go, so she’ll love seeing everything come to fruition.
This launch bash will get everyone buzzing, especially since there are bound to be some soapy surprises before the night’s over.
At Society, Allie will continue getting to know her new family members.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) has been nothing but warm and welcoming to Allie, so their bond will grow stronger.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was skeptical of Allie when she first learned of her existence and how she came into Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) life.
However, Ashley has changed her tune now that she’s met Allie and can see for herself what a lovely, bright young woman she is.
Allie had a blast during Ashley’s tour of the Jabot lab, so they’ve been connecting, too.
It’s nice to see Allie find some family to combat her loneliness following Keemo Nguyen’s (Philip Moon) death.
As Allie keeps trying to become a real part of the Abbott clan, she’ll have more questions.
Ashley will invite Allie to ask anything she wants since their lives are open books – and you can bet Traci will back her up.
Traci and Ashley will end up taking a little stroll down memory lane for Allie’s sake, so they’ll help her unravel any remaining family mysteries.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Allie will keep finding reasons to extend her trip in Genoa City, so this should become her permanent residence eventually.
