The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of June 20-24 teases that Gloria Fisher-Bardwell (Judith Chapman) will come to the rescue while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) call a truce. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also deliver some alarming news, so there’ll be some big things happening on Y&R.
At Society, Gloria will stumble across Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) while they’re clashing over their fashion partnership.
That’ll give Gloria a chance to swoop in and play the role of “spiritual guru,” so she’ll insist Chloe and Chelsea must be so happy to see her.
Gloria can sometimes make things worse, but we’ll see if she can help this time around.
Over with Nick, he’ll step inside Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) new CEO office and ask to speak with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) outside.
It looks like there’ll be a press conference to announce that Adam is taking over the throne, but Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will focus on her new empire – the one she intends to crush Newman Enterprises with.
Victoria will call Nick and drop some subtle hints about what she’s up to in New York.
Nick will warn Victor that he’s about to get some fierce competition from Victoria, who’s particularly interested in destroying Newman Media and dismantling what Adam built.
Victor will have the info he needs to strike back at Ashland and Victoria, but that doesn’t mean the path to victory will be an easy one.
That goes for both sides of this Newman war!
Next, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will convince Phyllis to call a truce with Diane.
Phyllis will be reluctant, but she’ll ultimately go along with what Summer asks – if only to show Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that she’s capable of change.
Diane will gloat to Jack and Kyle about Phyllis agreeing to this truce, so she’ll talk about how wild it is and perhaps spin it so that even Phyllis is starting to see the light.
In reality, Phyllis is never going to believe Diane is a changed woman and certainly won’t let her guard down.
This truce won’t last long since we know Phyllis will join forces with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to actively force Diane out of town!
Meanwhile, Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will get off the phone with her father and deliver some troubling updates to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) about their mom.
It sounds like Naya Benedict’s (Ptosha Storey) heart issues might be worse than her doctor previously feared.
Amanda’s world will be shaken as she most likely worries she’ll lose Naya after just barely getting to know her.
There’ll be major concerns for Imani and Amanda to discuss, so don’t miss all the medical details.
