The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of June 20-24 teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will attack Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) new venture while Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) past haunts her.
First, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will worry Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) might be self-sabotaging and will warn him not to screw things up with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Billy will make it clear that his relationship with Lily is great, but he’ll be struggling with the merger changes and some feelings of restlessness.
Although Billy will try to open up to Lily later about what’s missing in his life, he’ll feel on the outside again as she bolts for a meeting.
Since Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) couldn’t get Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) out of her family, she’ll direct all her frustration and rage toward Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) instead.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will be reluctant to support Nikki’s plan of digging into Diane’s LA background, but he’ll eventually decide to investigate and prove Diane has changed.
Meanwhile, Diane will seek Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) help getting a job before Kyle makes a career move of his own.
Kyle will embrace a challenge, so he seems poised to run Marchetti like Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) suggested.
As for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll face a bit of an ambush upon her return to Genoa City.
When Phyllis acts like she’s ready to move beyond all her Diane anger, Summer will force her to meet with Diane and call a truce.
Diane will take the olive branch and gloat to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about how things are looking up.
Kyle may hope this is a real turning point and that Diane will start to be seen like less of a pariah around town.
Later, Phyllis will convince Jack to let her make a heartfelt plea.
Although Phyllis will try to fix what’s broken, it doesn’t look like Jack will budge on renewing their romance anytime soon.
After Chelsea clashes with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and gets some advice from Gloria Fisher-Bardwell (Judith Chapman), the past will haunt Chelsea somehow.
Chelsea may rely on some of her old con artist tricks or perhaps find that old Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) feelings remain.
Speaking of Adam, he’ll enjoy his new run as CEO of Newman Enterprises, but Victor will be working hard to bring Victoria home.
After Victoria intentionally leaks some of her plans over the phone, she’ll anticipate Victor’s next move.
Victor will indeed strike back, but Victoria could have a counterplay since she’s provoking her father into this business competition.
Victoria will still hope to go after Newman Enterprises with her new venture, but she’ll have to deal with plenty of hurdles as Victor works to trap Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Other Y&R spoilers say Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will break some terrible news to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) regarding their mother.
Naya Benedict’s (Ptosha Storey) health could take a turn for the worst and leave Amanda worried she won’t have much time left with her mom.
Back with Lily, she’ll make a discovery that she finds surprising. Billy might open up on his podcast again instead of coming to Lily since that seems to be a real issue for him.
Then again, this could be some problem that’ll bring more tension between Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Either way, Lily will uncover something and perhaps try to find a solution if there’s one to be found.
