The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of June 27-July 1 tease that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will land in risky territory while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) rejects Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will also play the victim, so here’s what viewers can expect.
For starters, it looks like Phyllis’ plea for another chance will fall flat. Jack’s going to dig his heels in, so that should mean he’ll reject any attempt to reunite romantically.
Things should remain strained between Jack and Phyllis despite her new truce with Diane.
Of course, that truce will really just be an act. Phyllis will be willing to co-exist peacefully for a while, but she’ll secretly be plotting Diane’s downfall.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) could use some help in her own plan to get rid of Diane, so she’ll join forces with Phyllis eventually.
In the meantime, Nikki will hope Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) comes through on some LA dirt that could be used to destroy Diane.
However, Diane will be busy scoring sympathy in the meantime. There’ll be some situation where Diane plays the victim and perhaps pulls Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) closer as a result.
Kyle may become more determined to help Diane nail down a job since she asked for his help.
Although Kyle initially acted like there’s be issues with Diane’s employment at Jabot, he might have a change of heart.
Jack’s going to make an interesting offer to someone during the week of June 27-July 1, so Diane might be on the receiving end. Could there be a place for Diane in the PR department at Jabot or even Marchetti?
Over with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), she’ll deal with a surprising crisis and lean on Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) for support.
If her recent sore throat was a hint, Tessa could have some unexpected vocal cord issues that force her to cancel or delay her tour.
Other Y&R spoilers say Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will move forward with an Ashland takedown plan.
After Victor learns more about Ashland and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) plans, he’ll set a trap and hope Ashland falls right into it.
As for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), he’ll see that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is struggling and will want to help.
Chelsea tends to lash out at Adam these days, so we’ll see if she’s actually willing to let him.
Next, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will contemplate a change of scenery.
Since there’s been some insider buzz about Nick potentially working with Victoria, she may try to recruit him for her New York empire.
