The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of June 6-10 tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will plot a power grab, but Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will deliver a warning. Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will also make some dangerous moves, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
After Victoria stands with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and denounces Victor over the restraining order, she’ll step down from the co-CEO spot and completely cut off her family’s influence.
Victoria will make a firm break from the Newmans and decide to give Ashland another chance, but that decision will spark outrage.
Victor will push Victoria to see that she’s making a mistake – and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have to agree with her husband on that.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get updates on Victoria’s choice and offer his own opinion on the matter.
Since Nick has never trusted Ashland, he’ll fly into a rage and most likely confront Ashland about his continued manipulation.
Of course, Ashland will just be glad he’s finally pulling Victoria in his corner again.
We may hear Ashland make a speech about it being them against the world, but Victoria’s plans for happily ever after with him could hit some snags.
Speaking of snags, Adam’s going to face some when it comes to his own rise to power.
Although Adam will view this as his big chance at the Newman throne, it won’t be quite that simple.
Victor will hold out hope that Victoria’s going to see the light soon.
We can’t forget that Nikki is a co-CEO as well, so it’s not like Newman Enterprises will be left without a leader at all.
Victor will have a lot to consider, so he’ll deliver a warning to Adam and put his son in his place. Adam may be pushing too hard as far as Victor’s concerned.
Nevertheless, Adam will remain determined to take control of the Newman empire – and Sally will be right there by his side helping him pull off his goal.
As for Imani, she’ll take some gambles and continue to ignore warnings when it comes to her pursuit of Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Imani doesn’t care about Nate’s commitment to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and is refusing to let Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) tell her what to do.
Although Amanda tried to make Imani see that Nate is off-limits, Imani just doesn’t share that opinion and will keep doing whatever she wants. That means Imani will inch closer to Nate and force Elena to monitor her more closely.
Elena is clearly more worried about the threat Imani poses than she’s letting on, so that could lead to trouble.
Nate and Elena are going to face more issues in their relationship, so jealousy and conflicting schedules could take a toll.
Over with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), they’ll return from their honeymoon and find a shocker waiting back home.
Will that surprise be good or bad? It’s possible Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will have one last romantic gesture in mind since she’s been behind some of the recent ones.
However, we also know Tessa and Mariah are going to face a new challenge in their relationship this summer.
Mariah and Tessa’s marriage is solid, but there’s still going to be a problem that pops up – and that could start as early as the moment their honeymoon ends!
Finally, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will no doubt find new ways to stir the pot, but she’ll keep up her efforts to show Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) the best side of herself.
Even so, Diane may struggle to keep up the new-and-improved act the longer she sticks around.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the week of June 6-10 will bring plenty of drama, so stay tuned.
