The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of March 14-18 tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will score new ammo while Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) faces a betrayal from a friend. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also help Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Allie (Kelsey Wang), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
First, Ashland will try to get Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) on his side, but Victor will come out swinging in the next round of battle.
Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will look at Victor’s damaging proof and listen to his attempt to turn her against Ashland.
Unfortunately, Victoria is being stubborn when it comes to her shady husband, so none of this may be enough to convince Victoria that Ashland conned her.
Even so, Victor will want to do whatever it takes to get through to Victoria and protect his daughter.
Next, Victor will meet up with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for a strategy session, which should lead to Nick’s difficult choice.
Nick will realize he’s taking a big risk by going up against Ashland again, especially when his relationship with Victoria is already on such fragile ground.
However, Victor will no doubt remind Nick of what’s at stake.
Nick may agree to help with the rest of Victor’s plan since the alternative could mean more Ashland scamming and even worse devastation.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will also gain a new perspective on Ashland and face a tough decision of his own.
That’ll leave Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) playing the role of sounding board again, so she’ll provide a sympathetic ear and some helpful advice.
Nate will have to make a judgment call – and that should cause him to choose Newman loyalty over his loyalty to Ashland.
Back with Victor, he’ll be pleased to get more ammo on Ashland.
Whether that comes from Nate or perhaps from someone in Peru, Victor may feel like he’s starting to gain the upper hand again.
As for Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), she’ll receive disturbing news about Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).
Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) may get the police involved as promised, so that could lead to this becoming a full-blown kidnapping investigation.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also get some unexpected updates, so Devon Winters (Bryton James) might decide he doesn’t want to wait on the merger after all.
Then again, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) could be the source of these updates since he’s always full of surprises!
Speaking of surprises, Jack will deal with a huge one in Los Angeles. He’ll struggle with a complex family connection that he never knew he had.
Jack will hope for details from Keemo Nguyen’s (Philip Moon) daughter, Allie.
Jack want to know everything there is to know, but Allie may be reluctant to bond with Grandpa Jack early on.
Phyllis will do her part to help Jack as he copes with yet another family crisis, so some great drama’s coming up.
There are some preemptions on the way for March Madness, so the NCAA Basketball tournament will air instead of Y&R on Thursday, March 17 – and the same goes for Friday, March 18. Just keep those schedule changes in mind as you plan all your soap viewing!
