The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of May 2-6 teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will fear a Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) reunion while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) gets a surprise wedding request.
For starters, Billy will finally catch up with Victoria, who’s been avoiding his calls, texts and emails ever since the crash.
Billy will be glad Victoria’s on the mend physically, but he’ll worry about her emotional state – especially since Ashland is still hanging around town.
Victoria may admit that Ashland is hoping she’ll forgive him and offer a fresh start.
Victoria will explain how everything went down and acknowledge that Ashland saved her from that fiery car.
Of course, Victoria also knows Ashland set off the chain reaction that put her on the road that night, so that’s a perfect example of how twisted everything is inside her head.
Billy will ask Victoria several questions, but his most important one will involve where things stand with Ashland now.
Billy will want to know if Ashland is still in Victoria’s life.
Victoria may confess that part of her wants to grant Ashland’s wish, but another part of her has been burned too many times to ever trust him again.
Even so, Billy will worry that Ashland might slither back into Victoria’s heart and cause more problems with a reunion.
Speaking of reunions, Kyle will have a tense one with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and head to Society’s bar for a drink.
That could lead to Kyle opening up to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) about his mother rising from the “dead.”
Fortunately, Y&R spoilers say Mariah will have the perfect distraction and will desperately hope Kyle’s still going to be in town on May 13.
Once Kyle finds out plans are locked in for Mariah and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) Friday the 13th wedding, he’ll surely promise to be there.
Kyle helped bring Tessa and Mariah together for their first date, so he’ll want to watch them finally tie the knot.
Mariah may even have a special wedding role for Kyle as everyone gears up for the celebration.
At the Chancellor mansion, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will have some news to share with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
That will probably involve Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) true cause of death being a heart attack and not the car crash.
It should leave Victor relieved for Victoria’s sake since she’s been battling some guilt, but Ashland will remain a problem to be dealt with.
