Jack worries that Diane coming back into Kyle’s life will only cause him more pain. Even though Jack wants to protect his son, he also understands that Kyle is a grown man.

Diane is having coffee when Kyle and Jack approach her table. Jack and Kyle’s faces are full of rage and contempt. Suddenly, policemen come up behind Diane.
Diane is caught off guard and demands to know what’s going on.
Jack tells Diane that she’s being arrested and charged with abandonment.
This isn’t all Jack, though. Kyle makes his position known by telling the police officer to arrest Diane.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Unexpected Twist?
The fact that Kyle is the one to tell the officer to go ahead with the arrest speaks volumes.
It sends a clear message to Diane. However, we know the character is sticking around for a while, so what happens next?
Diane will probably assume that the arrest was actually Phyllis’ idea. Once Diane is released, expect her to fight back.
Diane won’t just be trying to get in Kyle and Jack’s good graces again. Diane will set her sights on getting Phyllis out of the way.
When Diane pushes Phyllis to revert to her old ways, how will Jack react?
