The Young and the Restless Spoilers Week of October 10 Recap Review: Adam’s Losing Streak Needs to Stop – Nate Double Dumped

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap review for the week of October 10-14 reveals that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) losing streak needs to stop, but it was fun to watch Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) get double dumped!

First, let’s talk about Nate’s failure to see his own flaws.

Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) was right about Nate turning into a completely different person, but he just never sees the problem with his selfish behavior.

It was satisfying to watch Nate face his downfall at Chancellor-Winters.

After Nate confessed to feeding IPO info to another CEO for a takeover, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) were understandably furious.

Lily’s “get out” was particularly delicious since she was calm despite her palpable anger.

Nate betrayed his family, so he certainly deserved the firing and backlash he got.

That’s especially true since Nate’s confession was more about hanging onto Elena than actually doing the right thing.

Nate got dumped by Elena before he was dumped by the Chancellor-Winters team, too.

Elena stood her ground on the breakup, so at least Nate’s being forced to suffer for a while.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will help Nate climb the corporate ladder of success again soon, but we’ll savor Nate’s punishment in the meantime.

Adam, on the other hand, feels like a Y&R character who perhaps suffers too much. When will it be Adam’s turn to win and have things work out for once?

Adam kept hoping for a real shot at the Newman Enterprises CEO spot back when Victoria was making a mountain of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) mistakes.

It was obvious that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was always going to put his golden girl right back on the throne.

Adam took a job at Jabot, but that story is a flop so far. We barely even see Adam working, so it doesn’t feel like a real win.

However, Adam’s love life is particularly sad at the moment.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) isn’t a good match for Sally and never should’ve let this spark develop in the first place.

Adam and Sally are the ones with sizzling chemistry, but their rooftop date during the week of October 10-14 was a disappointment.

It’s obvious that Adam loves Sally and truly wants her back, but Sally twisted Adam’s words and made it seem like it was all about a brother rivalry.

We get that Adam hurt Sally deeply, but it’s a shame to see Adam painted into a pitiful corner all the time.

Do you think Adam deserves a new lucky streak and a chance at some happiness?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will have to keep putting one foot in front of the other no matter what, so stay tuned!
