The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 17-21 tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will make a big Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) decision while Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) focuses on her chaotic homecoming. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will also hide her trail, so let’s talk about what’s ahead in Genoa City.
First, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will battle suspicions about what Diane might be covering up.
That’ll lead to Jack putting Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) through an intense grilling session about his history with Diane and whether they might still be connected.
Of course, Y&R fans know Diane is indeed twisting the facts when it comes to her Tucker ties.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) know that as well, so they’ll find ways for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to trick Diane info out of Tucker.
Back with Diane, she’ll do her best to hide her trail from Jack, but that’ll get tougher when a man named Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) arrives in town.
Diane was linked to Jeremy during her time away from GC, which means Jeremy was likely linked to Tucker, too.
Jeremy will pop up right as Nikki backs Tucker into a corner – potentially after summoning this mysterious man for help.
Over with Sally, she’ll make a significant choice regarding Adam. Sally already decided to move on with her life, but she may have to take a harsher approach with her former flame.
Y&R spoilers hint that Sally will bail on something and head down a new path.
Instead of trying to be civil with Adam, Sally could easily cut off all contact and choose to ignore him during encounters around GC.
Whatever the case, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will apparently get updates on Sally and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) romance, so she’ll offer some guidance whether he wants it or not!
Sharon knows Sally is struggling to get over Adam, so she may fear Nick could get his heart broken.
Perhaps Sharon will urge Nick to be careful with Sally’s heart too since it’s a delicate situation all around.
Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will apparently hear the news about Sally and Nick since she’ll feel the need to warn Sally.
Although Summer may be willing to put the past to rest, she won’t want to see Nick get hurt.
Over with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), they’ll meet with Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) to discuss the adoption and find out the next steps.
Phyllis will also have a secret to spill, so she’ll fill Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) in during a private moment.
That could involve all the latest Diane drama or perhaps Phyllis’ hope for a reunion with Jack.
Elsewhere, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will need to shift their strategy fast.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also work to handle a crisis at Chancellor-Winters just before Jill comes home to company mayhem.
As for Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), they’ll put their hostility on hold for Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) sake.
That should bring some warm family moments despite Connor’s issues with Chelsea being Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) biological mom.
