The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 26-30 tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will fear her secrets are starting to unravel while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) deals with a torn heart. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also face a harsh reality thanks to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), so here’s what viewers can expect.
For starters, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will make a difficult decision together.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will hold firm on her position, so Billy and Victoria may move forward with telling Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) the truth.
Johnny knows Victoria is his adoptive mother, but he’s in the dark on his biological mom’s identity.
Chelsea is ready for Johnny to know she gave birth to him and get to know Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as his half-brother, so she may finally get her wish.
However, Chelsea and Adam will have a disagreement soon. That could be related to Connor and whether it’s a good idea to just drop this bomb.
Adam has pointed out that Connor is a sensitive kid, so he may have concerns – especially since he’ll probably feel like Chelsea is making a unilateral decision. Chelsea may get some pushback from Adam as co-parenting issues erupt.
Other Y&R spoilers say Sally will wrestle with her feelings for Adam, so that could leave her tempted to surrender to them.
Although Sally wants to let go, she’ll definitely find it difficult to just put Adam in the rearview mirror.
Later, Nick will force Adam to face a harsh reality.
Maybe Nick will remind Adam that he hurt Sally deeply when he pushed her away and argue that it’s his own fault that she turned against him.
Now Sally is free to sleep with anyone she pleases – even Adam’s own brother.
Nick and Sally’s time between the sheets is obviously driving Adam crazy, so that trend will continue if the hookups do as well.
Over with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), she’ll take charge of a situation at Chancellor-Winters.
Jill is fighting hard to take the company public, but Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has been struggling to get Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) on board.
Perhaps Jill will carry out a bold move to make sure this IPO moves forward.
As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and the scheme he’s got cooking up, he’ll do something out of bounds and land in risky territory.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will end up giving Nate an ultimatum, so she could threaten to blow this for him.
Nate could face exposure since Elena knows the truth and could reveal it if he doesn’t call the whole thing off.
Nevertheless, Nate will no doubt do whatever he can to keep his plot intact.
The mission is to make Victoria the majority shareholder and score the Chancellor-Winters throne for himself, so there’s a lot riding on Nate’s plan.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will make waves as an intriguing new business executive in town, so look for her to shake things up in a big way.
In the meantime, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will do some digging into Diane’s history.
That could involve scoring some info from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in Los Angeles as she investigates.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) supposedly has some item that he thinks will be of interest to Nikki.
Whether that’s a photo or something else, Deacon may indeed provide some dirt that could sink Diane.
Whatever the case, Diane will land on the hot seat soon enough.
We’ll see both Phyllis and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) grill Diane about her past, so she’ll have some explaining to do!
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will also make preparations for their upcoming vow renewal, so they’ll squeeze in some moments of happiness despite whatever’s going on with their mothers.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer and Kyle’s do-over wedding will bring some surprises, so stay tuned!
