The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that our February sweeps preview promises explosive secrets, romantic shakeups and some scary medical drama. Here’s what Y&R fans can expect as several storylines get hotter.
For starters, Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) investigation of Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and his medical condition will leave Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) fearful of more family friction.
Nikki will know Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) is going to explode if she gets wind of Victor’s actions.
Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will do whatever it takes to uncover the truth for Victor, but it could come at a personal cost.
Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will worry history’s going to repeat itself when it comes to Michael working for Victor and the toll that’s taken on their marriage before.
As for Victoria, she’ll feel like she’s on top of the world with this Newman Media acquisition.
Ashland will help Victoria push Adam’s buttons, but that could mean pushing him right over the edge!
Adam’s feud with Victoria could lead him back to his old sinister side and put his redemption in jeopardy.
On the bright side, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be more than willing to distract Adam from any family conflict headed his way.
It sounds like Adam may be convinced to heat things up with Sally as he copes with all the changes in his life.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also be affected by the sale of Newman Media.
The fashion platform’s future may be at risk, so Chelsea and Chloe will be forced to make some tough choices.
As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll be happy in his home life with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), but there’ll be more professional challenges and adjustments.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also pick a passion project to complete on the side and keep himself busy while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) settles into her role as the head of Chancellor Industries.
Lily and Billy could face some bumps in the road as they get used to their new dynamic, so Lily will turn to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) for some advice.
Next, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will tackle a new mystery together.
There’ll be some big adventure that leads to surprising discoveries – and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will provide guidance that could put Phyllis and Jack on the path to a reunion.
While Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) happily plan their future, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will start to spin out.
That’ll leave Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) worried about Noah’s downward spiral, so they’ll do their best to help.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will deal with more struggles related to his Spain trauma, so that could add to his parenting challenges.
Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will also deal with some issues in her shared custody arrangement with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) – particularly when some medical drama erupts for Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will try to help Abby and Devon find common ground again, so everyone will try to remember to put Dominic first.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say February sweeps will bring some interesting turns, so stay tuned.
