The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a summer preview that features couples in crisis, sabotage schemes and dangerous decisions. Here’s what viewers can look forward to in the months ahead.
First, Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) decision will send her family members into a tailspin.
After Victoria threatens to cut off all the Newman naysayers and begin a new life with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will kick his plan to get rid of Ashland up a notch.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will be a big part of Victor’s plan, so that’ll mean showing off his sneaky side.
As for Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), she won’t be happy with Michael’s continued devotion to Victor since it could lead to more danger.
Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will do their best to help Victoria see the light.
Nick and Nikki obviously won’t think it’s a good idea for Victoria to reunite with Ashland and potentially set herself up for more heartbreak.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will see the potential for power with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) by his side, so they’ll make some bold moves together.
Although Adam will give Victor some great reasons to be proud of him, Victor will still feel the need to protect Victoria – and that’s bound to frustrate Adam.
Back with Nikki, she’ll find common ground with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) since they both hate Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) guts and want her gone.
Phyllis and Nikki will join forces on a plot they hope will get rid of Diane permanently.
Of course, Diane has no intention of going anywhere and is quite eager to bond with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as well as Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).
As Phyllis and Diane’s war gets nasty, Kyle and Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) marriage will take a hit.
There’ll be some conflict that tests “Skyle” along with some huge decisions that’ll have to be made regarding Harrison.
When it comes to Phyllis and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) romance, Diane will be determined to pump the brakes.
Y&R spoilers say Diane will scheme to break up Jack and Phyllis , but she’ll take the subtle approach and make sure she seems like the changed woman she claims to be.
Once Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) make it back from their honeymoon, they’ll face a surprising new challenge.
That could cut the blissful honeymoon period short, but Tessa and Mariah will still tackle this curveball as a team.
Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) love life will also become a summer story as he pursues Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang).
Despite being a bit slow to warm to the idea of dating Noah, Allie will eventually find herself quite drawn to him.
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will continue to figure out how to cope without Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) – and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will do the same as she takes a hard look at her deep feelings for Sharon’s husband.
There’ll be some growing hostility between Chelsea and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), so that’ll take a toll on their friendship.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will also throw himself into work as he tries to crack Rey’s unsolved cases, but Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will fear that her hubby’s pulling away from his family.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will try to keep love alive in his relationship with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), but Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will keep flirting and trying to pull him in her direction.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will also deal with some stunning news, so that’ll derail the bliss she’s found in her life lately.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have a hard time adjusting to shared power now that the merger is becoming a reality.
The Chancellor-Winters launch party is coming up, so that’ll set the stage for some drama and bring Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) back to town.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will keep feeling like an outsider in the midst of all this, so that’ll affect his romance with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and could bring some changes in Billy’s life.
