The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of December 12-16 teases that Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) heart will be at risk while Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) tempts Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) also won’t leave, so that’ll bring more problems for Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) protectors.
For starters, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will try to right some wrongs with multiple apologies.
Making amends will be a big part of Chelsea’s recovery, so look for her to apologize to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and more.
As for Billy and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) relationship, their Chelsea issues will get even worse.
Billy will suspect that Lily feels threatened by his connection to Chelsea, but she’ll think Billy is doing what he does best and seeking a high.
Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will encourage Lily to open up and lean on him for support.
Lily just might take Daniel up on that, but Billy won’t be happy about how close these exes are getting.
Billy will end up getting into an argument with Daniel later, so they’ll both be rather territorial over Lily as they trade barbs.
Elsewhere, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will freak out over her future and try to figure out what she’ll do now that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is moving on.
At Newman Media, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will goad Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) over his apparent Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) betrayal, so Devon will inevitably lash out.
Other Y&R spoilers say Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have a warning to pass along.
When Nikki realizes Nick is still interested in Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), she’ll want him to be careful with his heart.
Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will no doubt want to be careful with her own heart after Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) makes an admission.
Noah should come clean about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) planting a kiss and making a desperate reunion plea.
Although Noah kissed back briefly, he pushed Audra away soon after. Noah also urged Audra to accept that they no longer had a future together, so we’ll see how Allie reacts to all this secret spillage.
Speaking of secrets, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will keep one with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Once Diane is safely tucked away at the cabin, it’ll be up to the three of them to convince everyone she’s gone for good.
However, Jeremy will remain tough to get rid of, especially since he’ll keep trying to pry information out of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Phyllis will play a dangerous game with Jeremy, so her plot will backfire in the end.
Later, Phyllis will fume over Summer’s disloyalty. Will Summer ultimately admit to lying about Diane’s permanent departure and explain the temporary cabin solution?
That’s one option to consider, but it’s also possible Summer will fire Phyllis from Marchetti over the latest round of Jeremy drama.
In that case, Phyllis might find a new job at Chancellor-Winters since Daniel is about to kick off his exciting gaming venture there.
Back with Jack and Kyle, they’ll get into a heated confrontation with Jeremy. Thanks to Phyllis, Jeremy may not be so sure Diane is gone forever.
That could make Jeremy eager to hang around and wait for Diane to resurface – or maybe he’ll find out about the cabin arrangement and go after her.
Regardless, Kyle and Jack will blast Jeremy before Jack strikes a risky deal.
Tucker will also push Ashley to start a new empire since she’s been dealing with so much family drama.
Ashley will realize Tucker wants to take over Jabot as part of that agenda, but he’ll try to sell her on the benefits of doing this together.
